What would YOU imagine a potion would taste like?

Todays topic kids.

What do you think a potion tastes like. DONT TAKE IT LITERAL. I am asking the taste of a regular old nothing special POTION (gives about 200 HP). I personally would think it has alcohol in it and tastes like Jack Daniels, but thats not probable.

Im gonna go on a limb and say a POTION would taste like either a sweet fruit punch, or its going to taste like absolute crap (not vodka hahahahahaha), bitter and nasty like any good medicine they taste like crap. Thoughts on this everyone

So some reason I always envisioned it being something fizzy... like drinking an over carbonated drink. But as to the flavor, hmm I thought of it like the 'ocean breeze' scented air freshener except in taste. So not sweet or anything and really acidic from the carbonation.

SE made these "Potion" drinks a while ago. Apparently they tasted awful but they came in these cool blue bottles.

As for actual Potions I'd imagine they'd either taste really gross and bitter like how they are in other media or be like some kind of flavoured sports water or something. Preferably the Blue flavour.

While I'm at it I also bet they work like Berrocca, as an instant energy boost.

It could also taste like that banana flavored medicine they give to kids. I imagine as much is needed (at least in the beginnings of FF games.. I eventually have a full stock of Potions, Hi-Potions, X Potions, Elixers, etc and still just rely on Cure and whatnot), then the manufacturers wouldn't make it taste so bad. BUT, if I had to give it a bad flavor... Robitussin.
