Voice Actors

So I have a weird talent/obsession when it comes to recognizing / associating voice actors with their different characters/movies/shows/whatever (for example, I figured out that the guy who voiced Winnie the Pooh also did the voice of the snake in The Jungle Book - Ka, and Roquefort the Mouse in The Aristocats)...

& I'm sire y'all know all of this,but I find it quite fascinating...

Callie & Lenne from X/X-2 & I think another part is done by Cree Summer who also did the voice of Kim from my childhood fav movie: The Care Bears.

I never realized that Rachel Leigh Cook, Mena Subaru, & Christy Carlson Romano did the voices of Tifa, Aeris, & Yuffie.. Kinda shocked me..

What -really- surprised me though, is that Elena is voiced by Bettina Bush.. Who voiced my -other- favorite (& Parker's fav too).. Rainbow Brite. She was only 4 when she did RB cuz she learned to read and talk early on. But anywho. It still shocked the shit out of me.

Same as Wilmer Valderrama voicing Handy Manny. heh.

Steve Blum totally did the voice of Vincent Valentine. You might remember him as the voice of Spike Spiegel in the english version of Cowboy Bebop, or the robot Tom on Toonami. But yeah; he did his best to sound like David Hayter as Vincent... heh. I like him better as Spike. Oh yeah! He also did the gay guy on Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann That's like the most different voice of his that I can think of, lulz.

Tara Strong was the voice of Rikku. Too bad Rikku's a terrible character. Apparently the dude who voiced Bloo on Foster's Home For Imaginary Friends also voiced Basch, that's pretty weird... and I really liked Gideon Emery as Balthier, though I don't think I've ever heard him in anything else. "I NEVER miss." Also also, the dude who did Craig Boone in Fallout New Vegas decided to do a much less manly character in FF13-2. Anyhoo...

John DiMaggio is a pretty big one. He voiced Wakka, Jake the Dog from Adventure Time and Bender from Futurama. A long with a million other things.

I only know and am interested in the japanese seiyuus. I hate english dub (myonlyexceptions:DBZ and SFII movie). As for my all-time favourite voice actor/seiyuu -Toshiyuki Morikawa. He happens to voice alot of my other favourite videogame characters as well Ryu, Dante, Leon etc. Takahiro Sakurai is my 2nd all-timefavourite VA. He was awesome voicing Kurasame in FFType-0 as well. Shogo Suzuki & Shinichiro Miki..that is all. I only play the japanese version of Crisis Core n I didnt warm to Gackt's voice acting for Genesis even tho the character was modelled after him n he appeared in the actual DoC game. Though I really liked the theme songs he composed for Dirge..I prefer Longing over Redemption. Keiji Fujiwara is another favourite VA/seiyuu. In my mind, His voice will always be attached to Reno plus Im seeing a common link with all the characters Fujiwara voices for Square Enix -they all have red hair eg Axel in KH and this character from XV. He and Kenichi Suzumura are popular seiyuus for both anime n videogames. Mayaa Sakamoto is one of if not my favourite female VA/seiyuus and shes married to Suzumura-san so its fair to say Zack & Aerith are living happily ever after.

I forgot about John DiMaggio & Steve Blum & I even looked up the cast on IMDB -_-;

Tara Strong sounds really familiar.. I must look up who else she's done. Err.. Played. lol
