ps1 ff remakes O_O

i knew ps1 had the snes version of FF 2 and 3...

but i didnt know they had epic FMV cut scenes!!?

i looked on youtube, the game play seems the same though

so what all is different on the ps1 versions? because i was trying to find the cutscenes on youtube, but i only found the same one over and over, which is more like a trailer of the whole game rather than a speific cut scene?

also why does shadow have blue skin? O_O

and im in the middle of FF3/6 (SNES) right now, do i need to get on ebay and buy a ps1 and ff6 and 4 and play those? or are my snes versions good enough?

They're almost completely the same games. The FMV is just before you even start the game and one at the end, but they're not even proper in-game FMV.

If you want to play another version of the game, I would consider FFVI Advance on GBA to be the best version out so far. It has an overall better translation for a lot of things as well as a couple of new areas, four new summons, and three new spells. It also contains bug fixes, including fixing the Evade bug (Evade does absolutely nothing on the SNES version; MBlock instead determines both physical and magical evasion). The FMV are not on this version.

FFIV (FFII)'s PSX version, aside from cutscenes, has a little more content in the game than what they gave us for the US SNES version. The script is also more accurate and improved. Though, the PSP remake for the game is the best version by far, in my opinion.

FFVI's PSX version is almost identical to the SNES version. Some dialogue is altered, like changing Vicks and Wedge to the correct Biggs and Wedge. Not much is different at all. And the load times are slower for the PSX version. Of course, there is the Advance version Fluffy spoke of. Never played it, though.
