Midgar zolom..... Iv played it 100s of times and still go back to kill it when I get a chance after always trying my best when I first get on the world map!
I'm curious, what is your favorite non boss monster? I like tonberries because they are pretty much my favorite thing to run from. What about you?
Trust Me.

I'm quite partial to fighting large groups of enemies, like when Lobos gather up into packs. It's more satisfying to watch more go down easily than take down one large enemy, in my opinion. Like wiping out an army.
CPC8- 'fo bros, 'fo life, 'fo shizzle
SPOILER!!:
Also would emerald weapon class as a boss?
My favorit was The Ultima Weapon (1 and the second one in Kefa Castle forget name) in final fantasy 6!
Layle Crystal BearerGOT A PROBLEM WITH IT?
The other in Kefka's Tower was the very same Ultima Weapon, just stronger.
My favorite non boss monster in the FF series would have to be the dinosaur type monsters like in FFVI (Allosaur, Brontosaur), and VIII (T-Rexuar). They are really tough to fight, but they reap good rewards like EXP and i'm going to be old school and say GP

I thank THE LEGEND OF DRAGOON because it wasn't for this game I would have never started playing FINAL FANTASY and discovered FINAL FANTASY X which is my favorite game I would be more than happy to put this pic as my signature.
Giants in the Marsh cave from FF1... I spent hours in that Giant hallway area, where every step you had a fight...
I like those sexy things that charm you and are usually ice based. You fight them on the showy mountains towards the promised land.
