Of FF fans. Not the next geration of games but avid fans of the series.

I have seen it as the VII fan boys came, the X fans blitzed their way onto the scene, as lightning brought out inspiration to a new genra of kids.

Over the last month I realize my oldest boy is already on his way to being a Square fan as he has been playing Cronotrigger, FFVI and overly infatuated with Advent Children and the silk screen of Cloud on his bike with the buster Sword that graces the walls of Breyens room.

Its funn to see things come full swing in a personal aspect. Not expecting much of this thread but just figure I should post it as I go.

My two younger brothers, aged 11 and 13 or thereabouts, are very much into Final Fantasy. They're a bit too young (read: noobie) to play them at the level us older gamers play although currently they've played X, X-2, XII and some of VII but I've told them to hold off a bit until they try the pre-VII titles as they most likely wont get too far without help and not to mention I'm still in the process of buying some of them. They're happy they get to shoot stuff on Dirge of Cerberus so they aren't complaining.

My sister's boyfriend's kids (age 8, 11, 14 I think) are all into gaming. Vince (the boyfriend) grew up playing Final Fantasy (age 35) and introduced all three kids to Final Fantasy. Only the middle child has taken an interest in Final Fantasy though. She is still more of a Zelda gamer right now, but is working her way to Final Fantasy. She is obsessed with Golden Sun (not Final Fantasy, but a step in FF's direction). The others like Naruto and Pokemon (I was trading Pokemon with the youngest tonight while they were here to visit).

I even gave a short lecture on what Final Fantasy games were about tonight. She asked, and I was happy to provide information.

My brother asks now and then. He's 15 but he's pretty interested. He always asks about the Final Fantasy series and plays Dissidia on occasion (which I let him to level up the characters I don't use mwahaha). The only trouble is he lacks patience for most RPGS :I

Still, it's a fun thought. I'll probably introduce FF to my kids someday. Glad other fans are taking it to theirs

I dunno man it's better to have a new generation of Final Fantasy fans than have hypocrites that suddenly hate it like my friends and brothers have done that. But when I have children of my own I will introduce them to the great series known as Final Fantasy as a whole
