To Rocky: Yes, you are right about the weather system in FF13, but they didn't have any precipitation, just fog, smog, cloudy days, or clear days. Other than chapter 6 in the waterscape.
Oh yes, the time system will be major for ingame progression, side-hunts, finding a few special SG's (sacred guardians- which are summons), Certain stores will be closed at night, sell only certain things at night, certain hunts only availiable at night...
Yes, the weapons and summons leveling up has been done, but in my game, the weapons absorb experiance like the main characters. and eventually, they reach max, around Lv 25- to the final upgrades 99.
Example...
The main characters weapon, the Fait Rain, follows this chart...
Think as it as areas as big as FF13's archilette steep (SP), Story more in depth than any FF EVER!, and controls like Dirge of Cerberus with 3 active main characters, in which you can choose the active leader lol
Fait Rain- level 25 to evolve
Blood Sword- Level 35 to upgrade (requires 5 bloodstained necklaces to upgrade)
Dieities bane- Level 60 to upgrade
Dayspring- Level 99 to upgrade (requires Ultima Matter)
Same thing as summons.
For example...
Odins special is the zantetsuken. If he reaches LV 10, he gains Shin-Zantetsuken and so on...
Oh and the weather system, in older FF's, the characters get hurt walking in certain terrains, like lava, acid, ice spikes... In this game, the characters can get hurt and status ailments through things like a blizzard, thunderstorm, and even a Electromagnetic storm (special).
But don't worry, these things won't be littered all over the place.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
Also, I shouldn't say anything in-depth but, in order to gain Odin, you must wait in a field named Ianese Plains for a whole 3 days (about 2 hours in game) , then follow the sound of his horses footsteps, and then walk up an invisible stairway to the blue Haven, just to traverse through the side- quest for Odin.
Oh, and if you fight him during dawn, the "blue Haven" will be completely different from the version if you were at dusk.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
This is alot but...
My game controls are button placed, as in X= jump, R1= Cure Left D-pad= Choose target and stuff like that.
It's an RPG, but it also has actions like Dirge of cerberus. (but funner lol)
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
Oh and, just imagine that your other characters don't disappear when you summon O.-
The Expendable SG's are basically Items that you use for a quick boost in battle, but they cost alot for the time.
It's basically FF13s Archelitte steppe sized areas, Best FF storyline ever, and Dirge of cerberus' action with smoother running, and fun
Oh and thanks alisbet!![]()
