If you could live in ONE town from ANY FF, which would it be? And give a reason why.

Tonights topic is less controversial.

But to answer my topic, I would LOOOOOVE to live is Wutai from FF7. My reason for Wutai is simple. Nice, calm, quiet, a nice river or brook whatever you wanna call it running through town. I also like the location, its not totally secluded (on its continent yes) but rocket town is slightly to the south east along the water. But yes Wutai is a genuinely nice town with gorgeous architecture, ill pass on climbing the tower stairs though. Plus one bonus reason for Wutai is because Id definetly make Yuffie my girl lol.

Old Zanarkand.

I'm a high tech loving girl with a love for big cities. It always makes me sad to see the Zanarkand Ruins after seeing what it was before Sin came along and destroyed it and made it what it was in the main FFX storyline.

Otherwise, I'd pick Besaid Island or Luca.

Apart from Cosmo Canyon, I dont want to live in a town but only use their services to stock up on food,supplies incl weapons,armour,materia,accessories research material etc. I reiterate, the less people the better. The derelict Shinra mansion with Vincent ;) in Nibelheim another ideal town/location apart from those previously mentioned- Ancient Forest, Sleeping Forest n the Forgotten Capital. I seek seclusion, silence n solitude. Although.....my innate love for animals n other creatures both big n small, hostile or friendly would get the better of me and Id notch up quite a few pets-Headbomber, Lost No A,B&C, Schizo, Vlakorados n this guy-on my journeys *squeeals* If I decide to leave the nomads life n set up shop somewhere Id STRICTLY want no visitors except ma peeps so if unwanted humans come aknockin you'll be greeted with one of my many pets so get n stay lost.

Cleyra, one of the most unique places in franchise which is saying something. It's breathtaking beautiful, calm, place where you can easily relax, my kind of place.

I think if I lived in a FF town it would have to be something like Rabanastre. Something about the multiple cultres/species, plus the history of Ivalice is just perfect for a history lover like me.

Or maybe somewhere like Kalm. Just a little quite town that's never done nothing to nobody.

Although if I lived in a Final Fantasy world I wouldn't want to spend that life tied town to some crummy town or villiage. I'd definatley want to get out there and explore and become an adventurer (been playing too much of V ) with my buddies. I think it would be a bit of a waisted potential otherwise.

So easy. South Figaro. I'd employ myself by walking circles around the town entrance shouting "WELCOME TO SOUTH FIGARO!" at any travelers who looked like they were from a distant land.

You know, because it would be stupid to shout it at anyone *FROM* there. They know it's South Figaro. Or anyone from the region, really. I'd employ common sense.

It may not pay well but someone has to do it.

Treno, I think I could live there for sure. Dark all the time, shady characters hanging around the auction house, underground fight clubs... that would be the life.

I'm also a big city person, though Cleyra is a huge tree house. I have always loved Zanarkand's design. It is so enthralling. A close second would be Arcadia. With Lord Larsa in charge things woukdn't be bad and it reminds me of ancient babylon with the architecture.

Lindblum is badass. The theatre <3, the business district... weird shaped houses and airships overhead.

Midgar is cool too. Below the plate. Join a revolution. Write subversive graffiti. Join the mafia. Run a brothel. The sky is the limit. Well, actually the Plate is the limit. Hmm.

The real question, however, is as Incognitus alluded to. That is, you need to think of the one sentence that you will repeat whenever a strange out-of-towner comes up to you looking expectant.

Well, if it were a place in a FF, I would choose Balamb Garden from FF VIII. However, since you said town I would have to say Alexandria from FF IX. It seemed so expansive and colorful the first time I played through it.

My runner up would be Zanarkand. Mainly because it reminded me of one of my favorite futuristic cities, the dystopian L.A. from Blade runner.

OK I am going to clarify that I am using TOWN as a defining NAMED place in the FFS, Town, City, I DO NOT CARE. Just give me the name of a PLACE that you would like to live, example: NIBELHEIM, PULSE, RABANASTRE, KALM, COSMO CANYON, MOOGLE VILLAGE. jeeeez usually its me thats analytical.

I think I'd like to live in Kilika, post-Sin but pre-the events of X-2, it gets way too crowded and not to mention it's at the centre of a stupid dispute over a sphere.

Anway, it's a nice quite fishing villiage (i assume), but the home team sucks so I would need to fin something else to support if I ever travelled.
