Actually it was 2001 in the US, and Greatest Hits was released in 2003, and I meant Chronicles (Original) not Crystal Chronicles.

A: FFXI I guess you could say had 4 expansions. That and FFVII, but those were more like [terrible] sequels [other than Crisis Core FFVII which was descent].

I'll take a shot at it. I'll only consider the main series games and main playable characters.

A. Kain (FFIV), Yang (FFIV), Cid (FFIV), Umaro (FFVI), and as far as the FFIX characters go, they all have abilities that cost MP, but only Vivi, Garnet, Quina, and Eiko are actual "spellcasters", so Zidane (FFIX), Steiner (FFIX), Freya (FFIX, Amarant (FFIX).

Q. Name every FF that has Gilgamesh in it. FFIV Advance's mistranslated Gilgame enemy doesn't count.

A. From the main 12 games so far, I think that Nobuo Uematsu has contributed to all of them. I think after Final Fantasy IX he didn't compose everything, but he has at least contributed something to all of them. (correct if wrong)
