On PSN you can find FF VII, FF VIII and FF Tactics. I cant remember any more but FF XIII is out in 23 days( good timing on buying the console). Oh and all PS1 games work on the PS3 so if you can find old copies they will probably work.
I've recently got a PS3 and it's my first console for about 10 years, I used to love playing Final Fantasy and would like to know which, if any, of the old ones are available, either as a download or as a disc, for the PS3. Thanks in advance for all replies.

PSN is accessed through the PS3 menu right?
Yes.
On the menu system it's the second from the far right, labeled "Playstation Network". You can drop down in that menu and select the "Playstation Store" icon and then browse buyable games.
OK Thanks for the info to both of you
I think Sony has the system default to either the game column or the PSN column. They also added the Playstation Store link in the Game column. So they made it really easy to find it. It was sort of hidden away before that it was very easily ignored if you were aware of its existence and did not do a lot of navigating of the system. I can imagine a lot of light PS2 owners (meaning people who don't play games a lot) and bought a PS3 just thought of it as a cooler PS2 and did not really think about all of the other things that might be on there.
Finding FFVII and FFVIII on the store should be pretty easy since FFVII has been on the most popular list for months and I think FFVIII is too. And even if you don't see them up there they have a button for PSone classics in the games section of the store. So it is pretty easy to find them.
Curious? There's no limits but your own imagination.
