Nobou Uematsu is simply amazing. I consistently listen to his music. His band, The Black Mages, and the symphony that played the music has elevated him to one of the best composers.

With me I'll just say most every music from Final Fantasy VI I love most of the soundtrack my favorite being Gau's theme for some strange reason that music always chokes me up maybe because it shows how great Nobuo Uematsu made his music. My second favorite ost is the one from Final Fantasy IV. After these two the other ost's are still pretty good but not as good as IV & VI IMO
