Which FF character would win in a fight when they face each other?

After watching Final Final Fantasy on Newgrounds.com, I had an interesting idea for a thread and I'm hoping a lot of people will participate. As we all know, the heroes/villans of Final Fantasy each have their own strengths, weaknesses.....but who would win in a fight to be the greatest of them all? Still confused? Let me explain some more.

I will start off with a vs match...for example Kain Vs Cloud....based on the vs I would decide who would win, and how they would by giving some details in the battle. Every person I will list below is allowed to be in the tournament. If they win, they continue on to the next round, if they lose...they are pretty much dead and are no longer allowed to be used in the vs battle....make sense? Alright here are the people allowed for the contest

I know that's a lot of characters, but everyone you see her (I'm sorry for the misspellings is allowed to participate, anyone in there cannot be used in the vs battle...now we shall see who will win round one. I shall choose.....

Shadow vs Zell

Zell would try and get up close and attack Shadow head on, but Shadow would use his Ninja skills and make Zell hit a scarecrow, once Zell realizes it, Shadow will throw a sword at Zell's head taking him out. Winner of round 1....Shadow, Zell has been eliminated from the contest.

So now it's someone elses turn.....it will be Shadow vs ? and who will win. The answer lies in your hand.

There's one guy on your list who would lose every single match, well, not all, but quite few of them for sure. You see, Sephiroth has this nasty habit of underestimating his opponents, even those he faced several times before, and as seen in several medias he's not really the brightest bloke despite being called a brilliant tactician.

If he had to face let's say someone truly brilliant, with planet tearing powers like Kefka or Kuja, even Terra (we all know who was responsible for Kefka's downfall) I don't see how he could win =D.

In other words, Kuja/Kefka/Terra > Sephiroth, but since only one of these is allowed to kill him I go with Kefka.

Edit: Common, I have to continue where you left, fine, I guess. Shadow vs Squall, both fine swordsman, Squall with his Gunblade vs Shadow and his legendary Masamune, fierce battle somewhat similar to the one with Squall and Seifer, though due to ability to vibrate Squall's Gundblade caught Shadow on surprise and threw him of balance just enough to give Squall opportunity to strike him down. Squall emerges victorious and faces his next opponent...

Nice girls fighting I think Quistis will win. She is skilled and expernieced in using magic, so she won`t allow Tifa to come close and smash Quistis with pure strenght, instead Quistis will win fast using magic.

Actually the way it was supposed to go down was Squall was supposed to face someone, you don't choose two different people, that's not how this forum works. Though your opinion is valid, it won't count in the actual tournament. Please to all to enter afterwards to follow along with the rules from the original forum.

Squall with his Gunblade and Wakka with his ranged weapon Blitzball. Wakka starts the attack by shooting his blitzball, attacks Squall and goes back to Wakka. Squall runs towards Wakka to minimize the affect of Wakka's attacks, and attacks him. Wakka defends with his Armguard on his left arm, he attempts to use Dark Attack to reduce Squall's accuracy, but Squall's continuous sword hits makes it difficult for Wakka to aim properly, he is unable to keep up with the defense and Squall makes his final strike. Wakka has been eliminated.

Squall and Seymour meet eye to eye, as Squall goes and attacks with his keyblade, he gets a few hits in but Seymour is barely phased, he summons blizzaga freezing Squall and then he summons Anima to eliminate Squall once and for all. Squall has been eliminated

Kuja vs Ultemica

Kuja wonders around and happens to finds Ultemcia castles and wants to make it his own home, the two do battle and Ultemica is hiding from Kuja's attacks...Kuja yells "come out and fight". Ultemcia laughs which echoes all across the castle, she comes out and uses her time freeze spell which freezes everything including Kuja

She sets her her spikes and lets them go into Kuja....and then she unfreezes time, Kuja lies with spines in his body and just laughs....."haha you think this will hurt me?" Kuja turns into trance mode...uses Ultima to his full power destroying Ultmecia and her castle.....Kuja looks back on the wasteland and says..."Meh it was ugly anyway"

Kuja vs Sephiroth

It would be nothing short of madness to face Sephiroth at his current condition, his power just might be too much for anyone to handle, granted he never showed his true potential which makes him even more terrifying. With new body he might as well be invincible, Kuja knew that yet his arrogance drew him into this battle.

Even with trance Kuja was no match for Sephiroth, his pride, his ego were shattered as Sephiroth continues to toy with him... playing with his opponent, a fatal flaw. It's seems Sephiroth is even more arrogant than Kuja, his passive behavior, his habit to underestimate his opponent, all result of being immortal, were his downfall several times before and yet he repeats same mistakes once again. It wasn't long until Kuja did what Cloud managed to do, Sephiroth's wounded, but still standing.

This was ideal opportunity to strike him down but Kuja is occupied with something else it seems, he glances at stars... "Beautiful sight, don't you think. What would happen if one of those stars fell down" Kuja asked. Of course, that would never happen, Kuja is simply referring to his attack, "Flare Star", with which he attacked Sephiroth. On Kuja's surprise Sephiroth was still standing, this time though Sephiroth spoke "You fool, you don't get it do you. As long as this planet and it's lifestream are here you'll never defeat me" after which he vanished. Kuja smiled, he began to create Ultima on one of his fingertips and said "Well then, let's take care of that problem"...

Kuja vs Zidane

A battle of brothers....of course Kuja doesn't care, but Zidane promises him Kuja will be stopped! Kuja is throwing magic attacks at them but Zidane is dodging everything he throws at him...Zidane throws a dagger at Kuja's hair, cutting his hair and Kuja goes insane "you know how long it took me to grow this!!!"

Kuja continues to throw magic attacks at Zidane without going into Trance mode...and Zidane continues to block and gets in for a few attacks of his own. Zidane laughs "You killed a witch and an undefeatable solider...but you can't touch me. Naha. Sticks out his tongue . Kuja just loses it and says "Shut up you money, you will die now". Kuja enters into Trance mode and does a full power ultima attack until there is nothing left.

Kuja is forced to return to his normal state, as he looks around and does not see Zidane in sight...he begins to laugh "HAHAHAHAHA, I'm invincible". Just then a glowing light goes from the distance..."What!!!". Zidane comes through the smoke in his trance mode......"I told you Kuja, I will bring you down!!!" Zidane uses his Grand Lethal trance attack at full power destroying Kuja at his weakened state. However...as Zidane leaves trance mode his body starts to fade away for he used all his strength to defeat Kuja...."Garnet" were his last words. Both Kuja and Zidane are elimnated.
