I introduced final fantasy X to my girlfriend and she didnt seem that interested. I then made her play ff8 and she loved it. She played and finished it within 2 weeks (with a few pro tips from yours truly). This then sparked her interest in the series. She then went on to play ff7 and ff9. She completed both of them also and now shes going to give ffx another shot. My question is, have you ever introduced FF to a friend or family member? Did they like it or not? and why did they like/dislike it?

Well, I did talk to my best guy friend about playing Final Fantasy,but he said that Final Fantasy was," A sissy series for girls.." I was like...WTF? And the guys around him shook their heads in approval,...I mean...am I missing something??? Since when did Final Fantasy become a 'sissy series for girls' ?!( maybe FFX-2...but thats another story lol)

I've recommended it to my boyfriend, who says "it's an easy children's game" (that was his opinion until I got him to fight Ozma in IX and Yiazmat in XII to show him it's not easy for noobs). He still thinks it's for kids though.

I showed one of my friends Final Fantasy 13, he thought it was OK.
But I guess he's more into shooters ... Meh
I tried getting my younger brother to play FFIV once and after a few minutes, he quit. He's just not an RPG kind of guy. He's into shooters, like Call of Duty and all that stuff.
