I did a search and found nothing on this subject, so I'm starting a thread on the topic.
I actually went to each character in the theater section of Dissidia and wrote down every comment, from every character, to every character (excluding the ones towards Chaos).
There are really far too many to put them all down in here though, but I will pm or email them to anyone who wishes it.
There are certain quotes though, that gave me pause for thought and comment.
So I decided to create this thread.
Pick your favourite/whatever character quotes, and post what you think of them.
Here's a few of mine.
* Warrior of Light to Cloud Strife
"Hesitation will dull your blade."
Me : As well as using frikkin bandages, and not using polish or actually sharpening it!
* Garland to Cloud Strife
"I shall break you, and your sword!"
Me : No need. Cloud can handle that all by himself.
* Firion to Sephiroth
"You make me shiver. What are you?!"
Me : He's different. Get over it.
* Cloud Strife to Kefka Palazzo
"There's no getting through to you."
Me : Amen to that.
* Sephiroth to Kefka Palazzo
"You're annoying."
Me : I think he's more than just a little annoying, but well put.
* Sephiroth to Kuja
"You have to learn to stay focussed."
Me : Wow! That was almost warm-like. Coming from Sephiroth, that's like getting a hug.
* Kuja to Sephiroth
"Let me clip your wing, fallen one!"
Me :Awww. And just after Sephiroth practically gave him a hug too.
* Tidus to Sephiroth
"You think being a grown-up makes you cool?!"
Me : Kid. He's got a mega-corporation to get revenge upon, people to kill, a planet to wound, and godhood to obtain. I don't think he cares whether or not you think he's cool.
* Jecht to Cloud Strife
"You should sharpen that sword once in a while."
Me : And don't forget the polish!"
