Zidane! Loved his personality!
I love Cecil. Cloud is okay. Zidane is amazing, and Lightning is deff. my second favorite of them all. Cecil and Lightning are my favorite 2. =] So far.
Zidane! Loved his personality!
I thought all teen age characters were whiney, cause they all suffer from teen angst, character developers lack creativity when it came to making character, most are just stereo types. cecil was not a teen and his focus through the game was redemption its something alot of us have in terms of regrets, terra was all about coming to terms with her own body, what teen age girl hasn't. Cloud...well he was the least entertaining of all of them, hell i found the Japanese stereo typed black man more entertaining then cloud. Squall, the man for front annoying. this man is oozing teen angst, why would anyone let someone who is quiet, contributes very little to the group be leader, to me that is not proper leadership, then again letting an emotionally driven teen is not good call in making a leader of a military elite squad. i could go on a full page rant on this guy.
zidane not a great leader, his idea of leadership was, lets fart in the wind and see where we go from there. he covers incompetency by trying to help any random woman in trouble or plays the ever loving flirt.

So this is a the same as the other thread just more limiting? lol, well anyways as I said over there Cecil is the best because FFIV was my first Final Fantasy and I have a paladin complex.
Although come on...why no Benjamin on the list?
This is my signature. It's not good now, but later on it might be. Who can say...
...can you?
Cecil's my absolute favourite character with his sparkly Paladin-self and loyalty to what he believes is right. He was cool as a Dark Knight, too.
Zidane, Butz and Firion are great, too. Zidane was a refreshing sight after angsty-brooding Cloud and Squall. Butz had many funny lines in the GBA-version of FFV and Firion just can't stop getting TRAPPED every five minutes and that alone makes him too awesome for words. x''D He even got trapped in Dissidia. And in FFII his comrades died pretty much, because he got them TRAPPED.
Lali-hoe, I mean, ho!
Haha, awesome! Awesome to the max! I really need to play that one.
But the more I play as Cecil (I'm still going through IV) the more I like him, he takes charge, he's down-to-Earth and like all FF should: he starts off awesome and with awesome gear, yet struggles due to changes in the world and grows stronger from there.

Yup, you should play it! Though beware of the billion empty rooms with a random encounter in every step, now THOSE are some real TRAPS.
I completely agree! There should be a cult for Cecil in here or something. He's too awesome for a videogame character.

honestly out of all those I can't say I liked them too much...I always was one for secondary characters, in fact I hated the fact I could not swap cloud from the party in FFVII, but Zidane is a thief, and thieves are cool so Zidane
The Final Boss Theorem:
The size of the ultimate form of the final boss is inversely proportional to it's chances of actually beating your party. If you agree with this, please copy and paste this valuable piece of info on your sig. AND, if you're evil and villainous...never settle for a big form when a smaller form is more kickass...
