Active or Wait

in the ATB games which one do you like to use

i think it can only depend on the situation
in FFVII i always use active except when i am catching chocobos
in FFVIII i always use active because i used to use wait but then it got boring and on active it gives the game at least a little bit of a challange
FFIX i am still getting used to so i use wait

I've always used Active on every Final Fantasy that allows it. First time playing it till the last time I played it, Active Active Active Active.

Wait is boring, FF1-3 has Wait always, it's to slow for me.

i agreebut with some things it gets annoying and redundent for example the chocobo catching in FFVII

I use Wait on my first playthrough, but once I get used to the game I go for Active.

Chocobo catching in VII isn't hard on Active. You Customize your Items so the Greens is the first one....ez.

Active just makes the game more challenging. With Wait I can sit there and sit there and sit there thinking of what to do next. Waaaaay to easy.

It's so much easier to keep my setting on active vs wait. If I have it on wait, I input my command and next thing you know the enemy cast some ugly status effect on everyone and I'm out of turns.

It's easier to leave it on active and just have someone with healing magic always standing by a few seconds after everyone's turn.

I always keep it on Active. That way I can adjust to what's happening opposed to putting in my uber death rotation only to get ultimated into 30 life.
