song comparisions

ok, so i was listening to a song from Ys Origin and it reminded me of Xion's theme from KH 358/2 days so I went to listen to that next and I noticed that these two songs have a similar tone. How similar do these two sound to you? and whats your opinion on both songs?

They're both nice songs, and I could definitely hear the similarities between the two. It got me curious to see if I could think of any songs that sounded similar to one another. Hehe... The only thing I could really come up with was that a part of the ending from FF VIII sounds like a Danny Elfman piece to me (4:30 to ~4:55), but I can't for the life of me think of which one it is. I just get that vibe whenever I listen to that part.

Oh, and I stumbled across this, and thought it was pretty neat : YTMND - Video Game Songs That Sound Like RL Songs(refresh if no snd) The Double Dragon and DragonForce comparison was eerily accurate, as well as Journey's "Faithfully" and Megaman's "Elec Man" Theme.

I may have to open my ears to see if I can find any more songs that sound close to one another.

Well, i'm glad i'm not the only one who was noticing some similarities in the two songs i posted. I wonder if there are any more similar songs?
