    Liberi Fatali Cover (without chorus)

So I made a thread a while back requesting some full instrumentation sheet music for Liberi Fatali...and I got no responses. I decided to buck up and make do with what I had, and came out with the link above. I specifically put "(without chorus)" because I don't want you excitedly clicking on the link thinking you're gonna hear an entire cover...I just don't have the resources to strum up a choir on command, haha.

Please give me three minutes of your time and check out the cover. Any and all feedback is appreciated! Thank you.

I thought it was very good also. The one thing that I think could use a little improvement is that sometimes certain instruments sound a little louder than they were in the original. For example, the drums occasionally sound a lot louder compared to the rest of the instruments, when in the original they were not as loud as you made them. There were only certain places where this happened. Besides this I could not find much else amiss.

It would have been so cool if you could have recruited some people for a choir. That would have made this that much better.

I'll be happy to listen to another cover of a song if you make more. You seem pretty talented. It doesn't get much better than Liberi Fatali, but I'm sure there are some other good songs that you could work on.

First of all, thank you for taking a listen; feedback or no, I'm glad you took the time to listen to the piece. Secondly, thank you for the feedback, haha. As for the percussion being louder in some places, I agree after listening to it a couple more times (can you tell I play percussion in real life? Haha), and if I ever get around to it I'll definitely try to mix it better.

I've seriously considered going back to my old high school and giving the Chamber choir the sheet music and recording them, but time and driving distance has been a factor for that.

And funny you should mention covering other songs; I'm currently working on "The Legendary Beast", also from VIII. I'm about halfway through with that, and once it's finished it'll be up on YouTube. After that I'm considering doing a cover of "The Landing".

But thank you again, Treize. I take any and every word of criticism and feedback seriously, and I'll apply them to my future work.

Now that I think about it, I'm willing to take requests. So if you want to hear a cover of any song from FFVIII, let me know and I'll do my best to fulfill them!
