Kanon - A New Story

Has anyone else had the chance to listen to Kanon's new album, A New Story? For those who aren't aware, Kanon collaborated with Nobuo Uematsu on her new album, which was released last month, and it features several songs from the Final Fantasy series, namely Prelude, Final Fantasy, Eyes on Me (FFVIII), and Nakama wo Motomete (FFVI). Also, for the Distant Worlds concert in Sydney this year, Kanon performed Memoro de la Stono (FFXI) and Suteki da ne (FFX).

Her voice is so beautiful, and these are definitely the best versions I've heard of any of these songs. I also love that she wrote English lyrics for the songs that did not initially have lyrics. I'm really hoping that she will collaborate with Nobuo Uematsu again in the future. This venture certainly turned out as a success in my opinion.
