[Andromeda]

This will be the first time I've posted some of my drawing, but it is the first time I've felt comfort about doing so. This was made through a combination of traditional drawing and then using a Wacom to draw it into Adobe Illustrator and then transferred over to Photoshop to be colored. I ended up making some final tweaks to the original linework, but it is mostly intact. This is a lot of experimentation and work since this is the first time I've taken something from drawing to completion in photoshop. I'm mostly pleased with the results, but there are naturally things that I would do different now. I dropped a lot of hours into the picture and my next piece will probably be a lot faster. I was going for the anime cel inking look, but I was not really pleased with the results. I'm going to try for vector Illustrator style on another piece when I get some time. I don't know how it'll go.

The links are all the same image resized, but the largest is the original canvas that used to paint it. So its very large. ^^; The smaller ones are more manageable for viewing purposes.

The image itself is of Steph Whitestone a character from the currently running Bleach RP. It is one of my main characters. He is 13 years old, so he is a child. If you watch Bleach you'll understand.

Oooh. Looks good. ^^

Although the eyes look a bit big on him. The irises, I mean. And his mouth seems a bit high, also. The coloring is really well done, though.

Other than that it's really good. =D

[Andromeda]

Eyes are a real challenge at times. I have more trouble with the large anime eyes than the smaller ones. And Steph is suppose to have a generally cheerful looking face even though it is just a facade. So I model them after Yachiru a little since it was the only really good big eyed character in Bleach. There's not a lot of overly happy characters in Bleach when you think about it. Orihime is the only other one, but that doesn't end up lasting long.

But you like the coloring huh? Well I guess then maybe I get it right on the colors then.
