Presidential distress signal! (Wee-ooh, wee-ooh)

Okay, nothing that major, but something important to me nonetheless. I'm planning, hopefully by this summer, to get a tattoo on my left arm.

The concept I have right now is a band, all the way around my arm, of three horizontal stripes: Dark Green-Gold-Dark Green (with a black border around each and a little space in between). Embedded in there is a "G" logo from the American football team the Green Bay Packers. Also, before anyone says anything, yeah, I know. I'm totally a redneck for wanting this.

Here's the problem. Whenever I try to make a design, it looks like crap. It never comes out the way it looks in my head. I thought about just posting a request in the Art Request thread, but I thought this would be a better place just to throw around ideas. So please, post designs, suggestions, or anything else you'd think helpful.

Oh, I see how it is. I'm bumping this thread because I made up a design that I think I like. It's not very good technically, but this is the gist of what I think I want to get, and my idiocy in Paint.NET means that I just used the snipping tool to make it a better size. That's why the red outline is there.
