So, here are some of my creations on Photoshop. I do requests for a few people on LiveJournal and such so the majority of things here are for other people, and I would be happy to make anything for anybody here. But mainly posting this because people don't comment on these much and opinion is always good.

These are nice, Froggie. I really like how you added in the lyrics in the EA wallpapers. And on your "Mucking Around" section I like the background you made in your pics. And Lily's eyes....Wow. <3

Well, it's surely good for a beginner.

I noticed most of it is usage of the colour bars and the transparency along with a selection of standard brushes and commands, but most of it is nicely placed none the less. I'm not really a fan of the avatars, because they remind me of ... really emo stuff. They were requests from other people, but I'm sure you get what I mean.

As for the wallpapers, I'm not a fan of mass amounts of font.

Obviously we have really different tastes, so it's really tough for me to comment on the style you've used. However, I think you should practise more. There's potential but it hasn't fully blossomed yet. Keep it up.

I like that leaf function, btw. Reminds me of Autumn.

Chez - Yeah, I love the leaves too. It's my favourite brush. Yes, the avatars are quite.. Erm.. Emo. Most likely because the username of the main girl I make them for is "Emoslutmuffinxox". Younger sister of a good friend. She took the one with the emo looking kid with the teddy bear, the Victoria Frances artwork avatar, the corset and two of the Emilie Autumn ones.

I should really update this. I do sooo much crap and never update. >< Anyway, no use putting old stuff in now. Just made this. It's not perfect, because I only spent about ten-ish minutes on it. ^^'



And just playing around and retouching people I find on the interwebs. XD I prefer retouching to actually making banners and such. *shrug*

Can I see the first pictures' original? Were the edges that blurry and nasty before you photoshopped it? I can't tell whether it was a bad photograph, or whether you applied something in the wrong way and made that happen.

As for the second one... The image colour change is easy, so I won't comment.
The eye remastering was pretty good, as in going from brown to blue. The left one looks a little too bright to me, since it's in the shadows, it should have a slight reduction of brightness. Still, it's not too bad at all.

The eye make-up looks terribly messy (take note of the far side of the right eye, there's a lot of messy black stuff.) I'm not sure whether that was the point. Just could use a bit of repainting, but that depends on whether you were doing it like that for personal preference.

I believe one of the other differences is the lack of marks, moles and blemishes. This has been covered up well, although there are now stray hairs floating about in mid air on the face. To fix this, I would suggest removing any hair from the face near to the cheek, or redrawing the hairs.

One last thing. The teeth on the second photo look as though they were painted badly. Was this due to remastering them, or was it when you changed the colour scale?

Not bad, but needs work.

The first image I can see what Chez meant by the blurred edges of the girl and guy. I think with the blur tool, lower the strength to around 30% and don't overdo it. Actually, the real noticable mistake is how the lady's hair is smudged upwards on the right. Other than that, I think it's a nice image.

I don't see any mistakes whatsoever on the second photo manipulation. The point of it is to make her look more pale with flawless skin(no freckles.. no yellowing teeth.. no wrinkles), if I'm right. Good job on it.
