    Oil Paintings;

    Here is my most recent work;

    http://i294.photobucket.com/albums/m...ners/paint.jpg

    What I am looking for here, is what it makes you feel or think when YOU look at it. It's a very important piece to me, and I wanted to share.

    Here is one, unfinished piece -

    Any comments, or criticism welcome, I want to make it better, before I finish it.

    Wow! Those are really good. I can't think of anything the second one needs. It looks good the way it is. You have a unique style. Is that any person you know in particular or did you make her up? She's drawn really well. I like the mask in the center. It's eyes look really cool.
    The first one has a sort of creepy feeling to it with the headless body and the hands/arms dripping with blood. I can't exactly pin down what it could mean. Maybe beauty is in everything(cause of the flower)?

    Art never has one meaning, if that's what you see in it, then that's what it means to you. You know?

    And no, she is more of a model from Victorian photography I've seen.

    Lived by the rules you that you gave me and fell apart. All the wrong turns down a dead end street so far. I stretched my wings and breath in different day. Alone and broken is the price I pay but that's ok...

    Really great pieces you are presenting here. I am no expert, but I must say I have been impressed by your style. As Ann said, you have a unique style and I totally agree with her. Well done and good artwork indeed. Everything is wonderfully painted.

    I don't really have anything to say about your first piece. Your unfinished piece looks brilliant so far, I am quite surprised how much I like this, her face is very well painted and the expression is cool. Nothing to complain about really. Excellent work! ^^

    Anyway, You have talent and I'm absolutely looking forward to seeing more of your works.

    This is my current work in progress,(Yes, I do realize I have a hard time finishing paintings that I start.) It's a take on a futuristic bike. Neon rust and all that. I'll probably update when (and if ) I finish.

    Actually. I'm only 17. I've not been to college yet. I plan on going next year, but not for painting, or art over all. I want to be a chef, I plan on going for culinary. Painting, Photography, Fashion design, are just my hobbies. Though if not a chef, I do want to be a fashion designer.

    I'd feel to nervous displaying my art work in front of a bunch of people, or a teacher. It's difficult to explain, but the internet is different.

    Edit - Also, I've forgotten to thank all of you, for your sweet compliments. It means a lot to me.
    But never be afraid to criticize. Good art comes from criticism.

    Wow, I considered going back to college but for cookery instead of art. I did art, but then I was too late to join for cookery. Still, good luck with that, and keep painting!

    Holy moley. You're talented. I'd say go for art in college- BUT you seem to be the type who is very good with their hands anyways, so cooking might be awesome, too.

    It'll tell you, my best painting was a elementary finger paint job, and you put me WELL to shame. That's an understatement. If I worshipped painters, I'd excommunicate myself and worship you!

    Those are some pretty sweet paintings actually. I just took a painting course at University and I have an new appreciation of how difficult painting is.

    I really like your brush strokes in those first couple paintings and the use of tones in the most recent one you've posted.

    I'd show you some of mine but I don't have any pictures - yet.

    Either way, Great job!
