Lily's Art Thread

[Tiger Lily]

I had another one of these once, but it's gone now. New time.

This'll be for my traditional art. I'm self-taught and specialise in manga-esque things and tonal head-and-shoulders in graphite, although sometimes I scribble some comics in chibi form. I've got one manga-ish attempt (ATTEMPT) and I'll see if I can dig some more up for you later. I know they're there. Somewhere. Rocco has one. I should get him to scan it for me. ><

I got bored in Chem and it's done in HB pacer on the back of graph paper, so the quality's not greaaat.



Oh, yeah, that's meant to be magic around her hand. >_> I told you I was bored. Meant to vaguely resemble the uniform that they get in FF VIII before they make SeeD. So.. yeah.

There's a tonal sitting on my photobucket, but the nose is awful and I've refined my technique since then. I'll find a better one and post it later. Or draw you a new one. Either way.

WOW, the eyes looks great and the uniform looks great too! sure one of the boobs is bigger than the other but I really love it..Your piece of art not the boob

I like the typical Anime style that makes the boobs come out really good.
This drawing shows that you have basic talent/technique and knowledge of the human anatomy.

the style and quality of it is just SO cool !It's really really good, well done.

It's pretty good, considering you drew it in class. You've nailed most of the proportions down. The only things that could use some fixing are the hands, as they're a tad too small. Other than that, I'd love to see what it'd look like colored. I hope to see more drawings .

Haha, well be glad I drew boobs at all, Dark Squall. I never used to be able to, so I'd give them baggy tops until a friend complained of the perpetual lack of boobs. So yeah. Not perfect by any means, but I'm working on it. ><

Ugh, yes Ann. I'm shocking at drawing hands. I rubbed the surface of the paper off trying to get them right. I failed at attempt 673486754 and gave up. ^^;

Just be thankful I didn't try to draw feet, everyone! =o

Anyway, here's another one - the one I sent to Rocco that he scanned for me. Didn't come up too well, as the paper's really light and scanners tend to muck with shading on light paper. Lined as well into the bargain. Blegh.
There was some decent shading on it (ask Rocco! ><), so keep than in mind with critiquing. This was before I refined my noses too, keep that in mind.

I've got a half-shaded one in my English book that I'll finish for you soon. In the meantime...
