Will you please do a cover of "I'm on a Boat" for me now?
I give you candies?
but yes, this looks ****ing sick, and you already know that. And you know that I already know that, and I know that you know that I know that, and et cetera.
lmao I'll edit in a better title later. POINT IS. I got something to show you, TFF art community.
As some of you know, I've been putting together a career as a singer/songwriter. Aaaand part of that, for me, is designing stuff. That I can sell.
I've been working on a t-shirt design (for those hopeful times when I will require a t-shirt to sell), and I've come up with something. My facebook friends have seen a few drafts already, but here's the most recent one.
The name is written in my handwriting, scanned in, and traced in Illustrator. The drawing is actually a version of something I doodled in a notebook a few years ago. I found it, scanned that in, and traced that in Illustrator also. Boom, vector. I love Illustrator.
There are very likely more things I'm going to do to it. But I feel good enough about it now that I'm up for posting it here to see what you think.

That's what she said?
I think this is really cool. I can't make any intelligent or informed statement on it aside from that. Although when I first saw it (as a thumbnail), I thought it looked like "Alisyn Red", as I've already told you.
EDIT: The uninformed album-browser may take this to mean you are some form of Communist. If so, more win.

Why does everyone here have a sig quoting me? I must be some sort of asshole.
Anyway, that shit is the BOMB. If I were me I'd buy a t-shirt with this on it. Only thing I can think of for reals yo is maybe centering the text and the image, and maybe putting your name and the sailboat so that neither cover each other up (like the mast in between your first and last name) That's what she said?.
But yeah, bruh.

Now that I look at it, it does say Alisyn Red. There's no written i between the e and the d. Unless it's hidden inside the e. xP
Other than that, I like it. I'd buy one. ^^
awww how cuute ^^ Oh look the hook is a music note, how clever.
Oh and the girl on the boat is a ginger lol.
I likes :3 when I first saw it I thought silly but cool album cover lol

It's good to keep around your old sketches, eh? Never know when they'll come in handy later on.
I like it. I really dig the design of the fish and the colors you used on it, but the whole image is pretty nice.
If I had to suggest anything for "improvement", I'd have to say that your name is a bit too close to the mast of the boat. It looks like there's more room for your name on the right side though. If you don't want to have everything centered, like chad suggested, maybe you could try moving your name over on that side? And then the image could be moved a smidge the left.
Idk, it's up to you. But good job on the design. I'd wear something like that.
Click at your own risk.:
Thank you so much, you guys.
I've done a little experimenting today with the placement of my name. Originally, the name was going to be like a flag on the mast, but people wanted it bigger, so I think I'll be letting go of that concept. Also, I added a little leg on that i so now it looks more like an i.

I think that the outlining of the words really helped it a lot. You have a great design, and centering the words a bit really helped the composition. You also did a great job unifying your colors by bringing in that last bit of orange in the flag. I think it's a great band T-shirt ^^. Good luck with your career.

fan-****ing-tastic. As I said on FB a while back, I love it. Just thought I would throw my two cents on here at TFF too.
Honestly I liked the way you had your name on the first pic more. Given it could be a little confusing if someone didn't know your last name. Over all they both look great.

If I were browsing I would likely pick that up and look at it.
It is effective. Black CD casings always are.
i don't know what kindof budget you're working with but maybe a shiney part on it. (music not hook?) would make it even more eye catching. gimicky, but that is what sells.
I think you should print it and take it into a Hastings/FYE or something and set it on the rack and see how well it stands out. never done this, but just an idea.
