Congratulations Vivi! It was a really good banner! All of them were of very good quality. I'm happy for all who participated and thank everyone for voting!
I did do a bit of a critique for all the banners. Keep in mind that I am not a professional critic of any sort, but I do have some things to say about each of them. I hope I don't offend anyone with my opinion, because that's not what I set out to do. I'm just commenting on what I think about these banners.
Banner 1- Mistress Sheena
I love the font! The silhouette of the lady is very sexy, too. It's a nice subtle touch in the overall design of the banner. I also think it's neat how the negative space is whatever you have TFF set on (light, dark, etc.). I see a lot of orange and purple in this banner, which I think are great colors together. The Sorceror/Warlock anime guy is pretty cool-looking. His hair reminds me a bit of L from Death Note (as if there are any other characters named L,). I did noticed a bit of something under the first "l" in "Halloween". I don't exactly know what that is. It could be part of the image of the lady or the pumpkin, but I can't really tell if it belongs there or not, so it looks like an error.
Banner 2 - ViviMasterMage
It has a great layout. Nice placement of the Kingdom Hearts characters! It keeps your eyes moving around the image, but it's not too busy to be a distraction. You could have probably made the font stand out a bit more, as it sort of gets lost in the banner. Oh, and I probably would have put Donald a bit lower in the banner, because he's the smallest of the three, and he sort of takes away attention from Sora. Nice choice for a background!
Banner 3- Freya
Cute Anime girl in costume! It's adorable! "Halloween" is in a nice font too. It's a bit transparent, so it looks ghostly to me, which is nice. I can't really tell what background that is, but that's not a bad thing. I think the banner has a great focal movement. The girl has big anime eyes, so my focus hits there first, and then travels along her hair, and finally up to "Halloween". The stars are a nice, subtle touch. It gives it a more magical feeling. I notice that it's the smallest of all the Banners in the contest. No, it's not a bad thing. It's just that I personally find itdifficult to work in small spaces. I think it's nicely done though.
Banner 4 - Treize
Another cute anime girl! I know this one. It's Hatsune Miku. That's a great image of her, and I like that you included TFF in your banner, which I noticed that no one else has done. As for the Happy Halloween, I probably would have put a bit more attention to it, like maybe put it in bold or underline it. I love the font used though. I think that there's a nice balance between the image used and the words.
Banner 5 - Meier Link
The Legend of Sleepy Hollow is one of my favorite spooky stories. I love the image very much and I love how the color was tweaked to have a green overtone. It fits in with the colors of the background very nicely. I have one comment/concern about the tree though. I wouldn't have made it black. It sort of stands out too much in the banner. I would have toned it to more of a greyish black or maybe incorporate a bit of the purple from the background, that way the image of the headless horseman wouldn't have to fight for attention. I also have a bit of an issue with the font used. It looks fancy, and it doesn't really compliment the feeling that the Banner is giving off. I would have picked a more creepy-looking style. Also, I wouldn't have made the font color that bright of a yellow color. Maybe if it was a bit more muted. Overall, it's a very nice design. I really like how you did the line design on the left part of the banner.
Banner 6 - Dodie16
This banner is mine. ROFL! Thanks to everyone who voted for it.
Banner 7 - Unknown Entity
Emily the Strange! That's a nice image of her. It's a lot different from any that I've seen anyway. I love the use of shapes in this banner too. The circle shape popping out of the more rectangular shape gives this banner a lot of visual interest. Also the circle shape has a neat effect going on to where it sort of looks like it has a reflective surface or some sort of metallic surface going on. I'm still pretty new to the whole banner making thing, so I don't know what that's really called, but I like it! The color scheme is simple, but it's effective. I noticed that there are some bits of white in the word "Halloweeeen!" Maybe it doesn't show up on TFF light, but I'm veiwing it on TFF Dark.
One more thing...

Haha, I like how it's situated just outside of the main banner part. I think it looks great there!
Banner 8 - Alther Feyz Lucifer Primus
I like the transparency effect, but maybe it was used a bit too much in this banner. The only thing that really has focus are the words "All Hallow's Eve" and "Unpleasant Dreams". There's a lot of activity in the center of the banner, because that's where all the imagery is pretty much taking place and that's where my eyes tend to stay when I look at this banner. It's not a bad thing by any means. As I look at the banner some more, I notice all sorts of things going on. It seems like there is a dragon or a demon inside a flaming pumpkin. I think that's pretty cool! I probably would have made the pumpkin a bit more in focus though. The image definately pops out from the background, which looks like a gloomy city. I also want to say that this banner is one of the few that said something besides "Happy Halloween!" I think that deserves praise. Well done! I also noticed that this banner doesn't have a border. I think it works pretty good without one, so nice call on that one as well.
Well, those are my thoughts on all of the banners! Like I said, there was great entries this year, and I hope that everyone had lots of fun!

Dodie, thanks for the crituiqe. I had something else planned but had to scrap it because word got out on what I was working on so I made that one last minute. Maybe next year I will look back into what I had origionally planned.
Violet, thanks for putting this together. The turn out in this one is alot better then the last sig compition. Hope to see it again next year.
