*My Drawings.. LoL!*

Hey! I decided to.. umm.. create this thread for me to pLace aLL my drawings.. I drew this on my spare time.. Like.. when I don't have anything to do at home.. or at schooL breaks.. it's reaLLy amateurish.. I just used.. penciL, and coLor pen.. so.. umm.. It would be great if u can give any suggestions or.. comments to them.. so that I would know.. if I shouLd stop drawing or make it better.. :-)


*This first one.. I drew it at home.. I was bored.. so I decided to draw.. LoL! I finished this one for Like.. 30 mins?*

Her name is "Haruki FLawrence" (HaLf Japanese and American?) LoL!

I coLored it.. and ta-daaah!*

~I made an anime story Last time 'coz I'm reaLLy inspired by how good the Japanese to make a story.. actuaLLy a "Megumi" in my "Anime Story" is a race of haLf human and fairy.. so that their powers is aLso haLf too of the originaL power that a fuLL-fairy can do.. and they need the heLp of a human w/ of course the determination to heLp them..~

I have been meaning to leave comment on your pictures but I have yet to find the time until now.

First off all of them look good, I take it you are going for a more traditional anime feel to your pictures. There is deffinantly some potential here. If you don't mind I would like to offer you some constructive critisism. If not I will throw it in spoiler tags so you can ignore it if you don't want it, PM me and I will remove it haha.

SPOILER!!:

1: In the third and forth pictures, you have the right thing going on with the womans hair, try to develop the light and dark contrast in more then just the hair, it can also be used on all parts of the body plus also clothing and backgrounds (when ever you decide to start using them.

2: Might sound silly, but try using a pencil for accents such as cheek and muscle accents, it doen't have to be heavy lines and that is great for pencils! Seeing you can actually hide the greyish black that they leave with out loosing it's effects with color.

3: One of the big flaws that I have seen in a few of the pics is the hands, they are relativly lifeless and they are one of the most cruscial parts of the body and commonly misdrawn. Even in anime hands are still drawn with great respect in alot of aspects, try drawing alot of hands, and the good thing is that you have 2 that you can use as models haha. To me hands have always been a challenge to draw and probably one of the more tricky parts of the body to draw. Practice makes perfect and I feel that you can do better then what is currently there.

4: Mouth movement, in most of what I have seen so far you have drawn the pictures with the mouths closed with a little variation. Take a blank peice of paper and try nothing but mouth variations. Suprisingly mouths are probably one of the easiest things to draw when you get use to them, the hard part is getting the jaw proportionant to the mouth haha, but trust me drawing mouths is a little harder then placing the jaw around it haha.

5: Ears, not to sound rude but they kind of remind me of lamb chops heh, you have the basic shape and concept of them down but most of the ones you have presented look alike, try variants of the ear, try drawing them in different shapes and sizes. Also they accents I was talking about earlier works well in this area. Plus the addition of a few more humanistic lines could make them look great!

So there are a few recomendations, I can see definant potential there. And I feel with a few quirks you could take your art from brats doll anime to true anime.

Also the picture of the guy I really like, if you could add a few adjustments it you be great! But it still looks really good for the level you are at.

She's "Shun Toko" in a happy mood! She has a different race.. "Hoko".. Hoko is.. umm.. a race that copy a face of a human and can taLk just Like humans.. they can aLso get the memories of that human that they had copied.. good thing they're kind.. but when they use their powers in some bad ways.. the worLd can turn to downfaLL.. she's now in the form of "Itoshii Kuru" a former "Megumi".. (In my next drawing.. I'LL post Shun's true face..!) :-)

Your 'annoyed' looking one is my favourite, I think.

They're really good, and certainly nice to look at. Very simple as opposed to a lot of still-anime drawings, which makes them look a lot fresher, I think.

I like the "hard headed" one and the detail you included into it. Also I am glad you are trying some of my recomendations. I just wish I could show you some of mine in return. But ever all they are looking great and getting better as they come. Have you ever thought about trying your hand at a land scape style picture with no character set? Could be an interesting pic, I would like to see what you can do.

Yay! The Long wait is OVER! I finaLLy done my Landscape drawing.. I just hope u aLL Like it.. 'coz I actuaLLy rushed it.. For me drawing a Landscape is hard.. there's some technique there that the coLor shouLd stand out since the sketch/drawing is Light.. but in my case I don't know how to use photoshop nor tabLets to get a good coLoring.. my drawings aLso are not transfer here by a scanner.. just the use of my handy ceLLphone camera.. but anyway.. here it is..
