Nick's Vault of Literature....

As Celtic_Silver annoyingly recommended, i will be posting here literature pieces i have written in the past. Several of them are little crap stories i would write in my notebook while the teacher would explain citations and punctuation. That way, i would actualy be doing something meaningful in english class....

In fact these pieces are from Secondary 4 and 5 (Grades 10 and 11) an they're..well Beta like seeing a show i've never gone over them or modified them or anything alike...so yeah they may be crappy...but once again..Celtic_Silver's request...><

Its funny i found these a week ago while i was looking throuh my school supplies bag, and i found my english binder and i started reading these..it's annoyin because i'll have to retype them..but meh...while i'm waiting for a friend..i might as well type this or watch Ouran..right?

So here we go...

This is a poem i wrote down on my notebook back when i wanted to be a police officer, and mostly during the time which i grew fond of Luis Sera from Resident Evil 4...

I Used To Be

Thinking i used to be a respected policeman in Madrid,
I asked myself why people committed crimes so horrid.
It only seemed that the law was powerless against crimes,
Until i caught the violators and made them serve their times.

No doubt, it was a very serious commitment.
I enforced the law as it was my main assignment.
Thinking that within the service i had something to gain,
I somehow finished up filled with pain.

I don't know why i had to pay,
when all i did was administer justice everyday.

This little story of mine was written in english class during a "free class" kind of thing. It was initially gong to be a submission but i disregarded it as it was...too...umm...crappy...Yet i kept it... This story was written shortly after i bought FFIV Advance, and while i was very into Yu-Gi-Oh...

Valiant Knights

Every second that passes by, was another second of hell gone by. Every single one of my steps may have been my last. This has in time forced me to move quickly and efficiently; which was rather hard to do, considering the numerous tar pits, pools of lava and the bottomless trap holes. However that aside, my armor, the legendary armor Adamantite offered to me by the king of Torolia, had me resistant to most attacks by the wretched skull servants. Although a very powerful asset in my possession, its great weight hindered my movements as i could barely rise back up after falling.

As i turned around a corner, i heard a diabolical laugh followed by a thunderous roar. At that point, i knew that death was most likely lurking around the corner. I had begun to question my sanity into coming into this hellhole. Was i the one to really cease the horror? Or was i another fool to fall in the cursed attempts to rescue princess Delilah?

Nevertheless the reward offered for the rescue of princess Delilah gave me a sudden boost of confidence and at that point my will became stronger than steel. I drooled at the mere thought of the reward...Gadner Island...on the west coast of Torolia. The nicknamed paradise resort only accessible by the king himself, was withing my arms reach. I brougt Christopher along with me, promising him half my reward...and well..because he was my greatest companion. Though simply thinking of the sunshine and exotic fruits nearly knocked me off my feet.

As we entered the next room, i could not see the ceiling...it seemed everlasting...so comically i asked Chris "What's up"...as we both suddenly laughed....until i tripped into a hole of some sort..and was confronted by a familiar face. Edwin the 3rd's head was right in front my eyes...but most of all, rotte flesh and bones were everywhere in this room. It was the most horrifying thing i have ever seen to date. I suddenly lost my composure to the sight, but mostly to the scene and had puked. Chris on the other hand had ran into another chamber terrified...and i hadn't a clue which one it was.

"Chris Where are you? Where have you gone?" I blurted out...

What a fool i thought to myself, and at that moment i had realised that yelling may not have been such a great idea. I feel backwards abruptly as an unbelievable, and huge screeching noise came from the west chamber. Before i could even regain myself, in hope of positioning myself in a defensive stance, I had then realised that i was now staring at the almighty lord of dragons, Brachioraidos. I froze wondering how such a thing coud come to life. There it stood, eyeing what it surmised, was its dinner.

"Jesus Christ!" I thought to myself. (Yes i happened to use the lord's name in vain in times of crisis...)

"Since when do rats grow so tall?" I chuckled to myself...laughing at my idiocy.

Realising i hadn't much of a chance head on, i headed into the east chamber. Soon enough, i came to realise it was its food reserve chamber, as i noticed soon enough the now ragged body of Chris. with a torn leg, and a pierced gut, i surmise he may have fought valiantly. I then realisd, that my greatest companion had been brutally massacred by the lord of Dragons.

Filled with rage, i dashed back into the other room. As i entered the room, the dragon seemed to have dissappeard...momentarily that is, as it sneaked up on me from behind. With a lunge of its mouth, i had barely reacted in time, managing to slash its right eye with my dagger.

It shrieked in some sort of pain, but nevertheless, i was merciless and speared it on its head with my lance.

"Chris may have periled, but that doesn't give you the upper hand bastard!" I yelled as i gained momentum.

Wielding my lance with a courage unmatched, i repeatedly stabbed its head until it fell. Even though it clearly fell to me, i was yet to be content and with a burning fury, I still attacked it. Understanding that Chris was gone...forever, i had engraved his name onto Brachioraidos' gut. Soon enough, i found princess Delilah in chains screaming her head off and rescued her...it was a quiet trip back to Torolia...as the rain poured.

It was 6 years since that blooded day, as i tell young Chris what i had to do to save his mother. As i gave Delilah a smile and looked to sky...at what was another beautiful day....

Man, these are good. Aren't you glad I annoyingly insisted you post them?

This poem was written after a touching lecture from our school principal on bullying. Clearly, i may have been bullied at younger stages of my life, and i can't imagine the thougth of becoming a bully...

I Walk Alone

With every dreaded step i take,
It seems i can never break.
Nothing can change my attitude,
As i've kept my consistent mood.

Those who deny my true power,
Shall be taught and will cower.
I'm not a weakling as you all think,
In fact i'm not all that pink.

Once you provoke theres no turning back,
The beast within me shall make you crack.
I shall punish those who disrespect,
and show them they were incorrect.

Hurting the innocent is not my intention,
I simply wish to gain redemption.
For i have pained the little for too long,
Without unerstanding why i went wrong.

Nick, your poem and your song are both incredible.

The song seems to have benefitted from the co-write. It is deep, moving and has a really good rhythm, at least in my head. It certainly contains enough emotion for two.
The poem was also good. I felt like I was walking in the lonely shoes of the bully while reading it.
Your rhyme within the poem is perfect, and there are no real stray rhymers used. A beautiful piece to read.

This is a poem about how naive i may appear to be. I do reconginize i am far too trusting however as of recent i have begun to doubt many people in the sense that i believe everyone is playing tricks on me behind my back.

The Sweetest Honey

Imagine the boy who just saw the light,
Creeping out from his house without fright,

Not my best work, i wrote this recently and haven't gotten a chance to edit it but it seems ok....instead...i should ask for advice from people on what i should do with it...
