Wow, I'm liking it a lot, particularly the newer stuff.

I ask you this in complete sincerity, have you ever considered writing lyrics for a depressive black metal band? It's very similar to the kind of thing they look for and I think you could get paid pretty well for this kind of stuff.

I like how none of it is too emotional, but more angry. I dislike silly teenage angst poetry, and you include none of that crap in your works, which is very impressive considering the amount of unoriginal turd sprouting from people these days. Congratulations on being much more imaginative, your talent is VERY rare.

I'm really impressed with this and seriously recommend you get in contact with somebody who will make these into songs.

The person in my avatar is me.

This is more of a personal poem. If you've been reading my journal, then you'll see why....

    Hate Me So

    Your beckoned cries
    No one hears,
    Tried to help you,
    As you go in tears...

    Your the one that's alone,
    Your the one who groans...
    Keep pretending what you see,
Because in the end I am free...

I see through you and I know who you really are,
Your chances with me have always been far,
If you're that weak to blame everything all on me,
Then leave me alone and let me be...

Finally darling, you let me go
If it feels really good to hate me then hate me so,
I tried being your friend but you sit there and lie,
I won't let you break me so this my goodbye...

We never made love nor would I ever want to,
Believe what you will because I would never want to,
    Your lies disgust me,
    Your presence is vile,
It if helps you to hate me then go on in denial...

My friendship wasn't good enough because you wanted more,
To use me as an object for things to ignore,
You are a child trapped in your mind,
    Filled with lies,
    Stuck in time...

I won't play your game but this is what I will tell,
I really tried to help you but you sat there and fell,
Our friendship wasn't good enough because you didn't give a f-u-c-k,
Hate me if you will and your poetry sucks...

    Feelings are faded
    But really your jaded,
    Your cunning lies,
    Are all you created,

Moonlight shines and pierces right through,
Like a dagger to the heart,
    I am finished with you

Dude, this poem tells the story itself. How you're capable of pouring yourself out into an artistic poem such as this, is beyond me. That requires courage, intelligence, and artistic talent. Quite frankly, you're not lacking any of those. You're a good guy, going through a rough step, but you'll overcome it, because good guys don't always finish last. You my friend, are one of a kind. I wish i knew more people like you...

    Great poem...

Thanks guys. ^^ I hope to see some of my work in the bookshelves one day but we'll see. =]

Here's another one I've written earlier today.....

    Darkness

    Darkened obscurity dashes right through,
As it flows within me, the clock strikes at two...
The reminiscent night is what makes me start to tick,
Like the clock that is moving, the reality of this is thick....

The things that I see seem forever to be,
    The absence of light,
    Has birth this night...
Without a touch and without a taste,
    The shadows are coming,
    I must make haste...

Darkened serenity soon starts to fade,
The option of survival is what comes to aid,
Without fear but only in caution,
I must walk alone and fight through exhaustion...

To make it to the day,
    And survive through this pain..
    But the truth of uncertainty,
Is what makes this all remain...

    Darkened sublimity goes into me,
The hour is ticking, where there's nothing to be
Blinded by what I wished and what I regret
Allow me to say this..."I wish to forget..."

You have amazing talent with this, Squish.

Reading your poetry is amazing. It really makes you feel.. I forget everything around me and for those few minutes my whole life is centered around the poem I am reading.

...Needless to say, I like it. ><.

This poem I would say is one of the more personal ones then I have posted in the past. I don't wanna say too much but the poem is about my Uncle that had passed away over a year ago. He died from using heroin and to be honest, I have mixed feelings about his death...

    Too Late

Frozen movement of these guilty thoughts,
Leaves an unpleasant past of how we fought,
Though my hatred for you has gone without silence,
Leaves me only in a path with nothing but violence...

The shattered mirror I see look back,
A reflection of you is when I fall and crack,
    The syringe I found,
    The way you left,
Is it a right to blame me,
In order to forgive you and forget?

    Those words I've said,
    Those words I've regret,
"I ****ing hate you, I wish you were dead."...

Is it a right to blame me in order to forgive you nad forget?

Though I've tried to acquit this need for me to be blamed,
I've set myself up for this endless shame,
Guilty as charged, "Indicted" is my name,
The way I feel, I will never be the same...

    Yet they don't know,
Those thoughts of mine you fed,
    My need for hurting,
    My need to be dead...

They don't know the person they knew to the person they see behind the shattered glass,
Although they're mistaken, you made it feel as if it would last...

    My anger, this frustration
    My insecurities, the violations,
    The pain, my hate,
    My guilt, your fate...

    That syringe I found,
    The memories it brought back,
Just when I wanted to forget it all,
    It bit back and snapped...

Frozen movement of these guilty thoughts,
Leaves an unpleasant past of how we once fought,
    Lock away my love,
    And throw in my hate,
    Everything that has happened,
    Its already too late...

    Thank you Rikkuffx.

These next two are random stuff I written. I purely wrote them out of boredom but I like them!

    Consequence

    Ablaze your tongue sir,
    And silence those words,
    Crimson secrets spilled,
    Forget what you have heard...

    By the tongue sir,
    Please do not scream..
Its only a game you say,
    Sweet, sweet dream...

    How foolish was I?
    To open and trust...
    By the tongue sir,
To kill you is a must....

    Grasp the sword,
    And behold your head,
    I will bury you alive,
And forget what you have ever said..

Your wicked words of unplesant haunt,
Has mocked me surely, you really shouldn't flaunt..
By the tongue sir I will gladly give you hell,
The pleasure of your pain, I will gladly taunt...

    Bite yor tongue sir,
    And swallow those cryptic words,
Forget what I have ever said sir,
Forget what you have even heard...

    Written Words

He sits down writing through time,
Forgetting all his troubles, stuck in his mind,
    Without a doubt, thinking "possibly",
Writing it down, he's falling underneath...

Inside my heart, outside of me
I look for the answers that lie inside me,
Though some things I cannot bare,
The emotion it costs, writing in despair...
But these words of mine reflect upon me,
Forgetting all my troubles, the reality in me...

    Damaged (Part I)

    Push and heave,
    Suffer and woe,
    Fallen and beat,
    Where do I go?

    On the ground,
    Weakened in pain,
    The white T-shirt I'm wearing,
    Now blood-stained

    The blackened day,
    The consuming night,
    The fact that I'm hurting,
    I cannot fight...

    The sharpened blade,
    Your haunting face,
    Your evil grin,
    The unholy disgrace...

    This sinister atmosphere,
    Your somber presence,
    What I see,
    Is your treachery

I cannot walk and I cannot stand,
    I crawl with integrity,
    Hand by hand..

    Pushing and fighting,
    Escaping my death,
    Hopeful but beaten,
    Not until my last breath...

Still rhyming I see. It's all good though. You're style has changed a bit. You write with more imagery now and less of the direct voice that you did. You still have an interesting way of putting down feelings though since it still comes out very strong. It's still really good though.

    Yay for Fishie's skills! ^^

Thanks Bleachfan girl. The poems that use more imagery then usual aren't personal to me. The ones that are more straight foward without hiding behind imagery are personal to me. I've been noticing that with my poetry as of lately. As for the rhyming, its something that I got used to. Its hard for me writing poetry without the rhyme. I hope to write poems without rhyming though. I don't wanna have just one style but write in various ways.

I read Damaged (Part One), and it turned into a song in my head. You're really very good at this poetry lark, love. It's one of the best ways to get bad things out of you, give yourself space to breath; I get the feeling that your poems do that not only for you, but for others who read them and find resonance within them.

    Good work love. Lyk srsly.

    Enough

Thank you guys for the comment. And yes Gov, they do help me out in a way. However, sometimes poetry doesn't help at all sometimes. However, I do wish to expand my writing into more forms of poetry besides rhyme. I'm worried though that it won't flow but practice makes perfect I suppose....

This next poem is a personal one. As you'll see, its raw. I don't use metaphors. I don't use imagery and I don't hide the emotion in this one. My next few I will be posting up over the weekend will be better I promise you. But in the meantime, read this and let me know what you think. Comments are appreciated.

    Enough

    Why do I bother?
    Why do I try?
    So much guilt I feel,
I wish to let this fly...

    You blame me,
Her faults, her tears, her fears...
The screams she cries, no one hears,

    Yet I've tried,
    I've tried hard,
Even if it would kill me,
    I will always try hard..

    But why,
    Why can't you listen?
    We're here...
The shadow of the old me,
How I wish to let it free...

    To numb the pain,
    To get the high,
    To purge away my troubles,
    And watch them leave...

    Sister, let the roles switch,
    You're me, I'm you..
Let them throw you in the hospital and help you
    Don't help me, no sis...
    My silenced voice,
    My pending doom,
    Why do I bother,
    Why do I try?

    My Goodbye

Next poem is much more positive then the previous one I posted which is all good.

    My Goodbye

The days I sleep in my haunted slumber,
The days that are passing, I'm falling under,
The clock is ticking and so is the sun,
I must awaken, I can no longer run...

Its over now so I'll let my fears fly,
Its time for me to leave,
    So this is my goodbye,
I'll face it all and not close my eyes,
Like a child that's afraid of the dark,
I'll walk in the light and find a way...

I won't give up on who I've become.
    Though the temptation is there,
I won't let it come undone,
Just those words I would for once like to hear from you..
    "I'm so proud"..
Just say it to me and say it out loud!
So loud that the walls I've built soon start to break
I would just like to hear it from you and rid the heartache...

I can feel that its time for me to face it,
    Am I sure?
    Yes, I'll take it...
Uncertainty is what will always be my biggest fear,
But all I know is that I'm trying,

    Tell me you're proud,
    Just tell me you're proud,
The little boy in me wishes there was something I could do,
Because I'll always say this, mom and dad..
    I love you

My future is knocking on the door,
    Time for my goodbye,
This is something I can't ignore

After debating on which version I should post, I decided to post up the two. I'm bad with Old English BTW, but I tried.

    Hell

The wandering gates in this twisted hell,
Watch as they open, the prisoners in their cell,
The burning flames of painful torment, now blood red..
For those who have fallen, their hope is now dead,

I'm the guardian that sits behind the gate,
    Where I witness them suffer,
    Their tragic fate,
An endless nightmare of the people that had eternal hate,
    All against each other,
    They're taking the bait..

    All against each other,
    As our worlds collide,
    Breaking apart,
    Their faith divides...

They won't bow because they don't believe,
"Thou" has left us, they feel deceived..
The condemnation spreads like the plague,
    All across the fire,
    The consuming flames...

Screaming terror, seek them a light
    Give them enlightment,
    Give them might...

    Hell(Remix)

Thy wandering gates in thou twisted hell,
Watch as thou opens, thou prisoners in thy cell,
Thy burning flames of painful torment is blood red..
Thou have fallen, thy hope is dead,

I'm thy guardian that sits behind thou shutted gate,
    Where I witness thy suffer,
    Thou tragic fate,
An endless nightmare of thy people that had eternal hate,
    All against each other,
    Thou is taking the bait..

    All against each other,
    As thou worlds collide,
    Breaking apart,
    Thy faith divides...

Thou won't bow because thou don't believe,
"Thou" has left us, thy feels deceived..
Thou condemnation spreads like thy plague,
    All across thy fire,
    Thou consuming flames...

Screaming terror, seek thou a light
    Give thou enlightment,
    Give thou might...

I'm bringing this back. I've written a lot of poetry since my last entry. Some random. A lot personal. But I keep having this internal debate with myself about putting up certain poems but here's two I've written recently. Comments or criticism would be appreciated.

    Fragile

    Never forget, always remember,
Upon the path that I'm taking I observe within..

    Never forget, always deny
As I stand there thinking, I just cannot cry...

As fragile as I am from wanting to implode from the inside out,
Emotional explosion, verbal attacks of shout,
Words of anger filled with pain,
All that I know is I'm going insane...

    My voice it speaks,
Upon that wrath that I seek,
A faded voice of angst now echoing,
    Crawling within your corrupted ears,

Why should I hush my voice when nothing will change?
And let it drive me mad till I abruptly go insane?

    As fragile as I am,
Wanting to destroy anything that hurts me in my path,
That little boy inside me is gone now,
And he is not coming back

    Break The Silence

    Masks of sorrow,
    Symbols of war,
    An internal battle,
    Upon the frontline shore,

    Soft, flowing sand
    Falling through my hands
    Fading on the floor,
    On this toxic land

    Upon the shore,
Growls of the wind that soon galore
As I hear it smacking with in the air,
Reminds me of what doesn't seem fair,

An awkward pause of solemn silence,
To remember the events that were took upon this event that led to violence...
A disaster of many of what feels like deception,
    Endless casualties, a hopeless obsession...

A power struggle to just feed what's already been fed,
And sacrifice others while their sanity has gone dead..

    Breaking the silence,
    Grieving within,
    It all ends here now,
    And something new shall begin

Wow, the first one is packed with emotion! I especially love the last two lines "That little boy is gone now, and he is not coming back". It makes it seem like a poem about how much you've grown maybe?

The second one seems like a war poem, am I right? The words you've used in there are brill, they really go with the whole concept of it well, that's the same wit the other poem for that matter ^.^

You're a great poet Fishie, good job ^.^

Another two poems I've written. Hope you enjoy them.

    Midnight Madness

    Cryptic whispers of icy shivers,
    Touching my skin
    Makes me quiver

In my bed sleep never comes,
As I lay with these voices racing,
    My mind starts to run

    Soon I'm tossing,
    Then I'm turning,
    When will night end?
    And daylight start burning?
Soon an endless cycle that spins me around
    Hypnotized and haunted,
    Darkness comes down
The lingering presence of sadden disturbance,
Comes at me from a distance
    Unfortunate urgence
What I've feared is now alive,
    Here in midnight madness
    Like a child, I cry

    Frozen in time
    Cannot react,
    Midnight Madness,
    Wretched Insonmiac

    Twisted

What have they done to you?
Little boy, what have they done to you?
A mind once filled with nothing but good,
Has been drained away and corrupted with poison
As it spreads within your thoughts,
You sit here angry and unsure on everything you have been taught,
It seems to me that you're going down a path of self-destruction
A place that will soon one day be beyond your control,

    Little boy..
    It's okay to be angry,
    It's okay to be sad..
    You've been through it all,
But why must you be mad?
Far from the truth, they see what they want to see,
Covered in their ****ed up lives, ignoring what's beneath their god damn nose,
They smell up the foul air that feeds their pathetic egos,

    Little boy,
What have they done to you?
You're no longer the little boy I used to know,

    I say you want justice,
    I say you want revenge,
    I say you want peace,
More importantly, I say you want to leave...
    Little boy,
    Just give it some time,
Here in our time of need there will be something to find,
As twisted as we are in this ****ed up place,
    We'll leave one day,
And not be condemned as their disgrace

    Between The Bridge And I

    Between The Bridge And I

Between the bridge and I blinds the path to the other side,
But from where I'm standing, only defeat lies,

Behind me is the mob that sends me on the edge,
Closer and closer, I'm hitting the ledge,

No where to run, no where to hide,
Should I jump off the bridge and see to my death?

A dead end deal that has been given to me,
Between the bridge and I is the darkness I still see,

Forming a cloud, Coming my way,
Which way do I turn, And hide from the fray?

Between the bridge and I, The ropes are really old,
And as I take my first step back, It all snaps back and unfolds,

One by one, Two by two,
I'm falling now, And into the blue,

Between the bridge and I now remains a hole going down,
From where you are standing, you won't hear a sound,

From where I once stood, I am no longer there,
    Descending into oblivion, Anguish ensnares

I'm posting two poems this time. I written both of them on the same night when I just couldn't sleep. Anyways, here they are. Comments, feedback, or criticism is always appreciated.

    Freezing Mirror

Look into my world and see through my reflection,
    I'm caught in a bind where I face self-deception,
And though I've deceived while my sanity cried,
I fooled myself once more as my energy died,

Gaze into my world and observe through my reflection,
And tell me what you see,
Because what I see is solitude,
    Entrapment in fragility,
Shattered and sleeping, Yearning and weeping,
Come into my world and break me from freezing,

    Confining me from perilous repression,
Saving me from my internal aggression,

My disease is now spreading to the other side,
Where I will now awaken and no longer hide,
My freezing mirror breaks, revealing the way,
Reality is here and it darkens my day

    Twilight Wonder

An ethereal road shines and projects sweet divine,
And captures the moment while standing in time,
The illuminating air glows with a radiant light,
And the beauty of freedom engulfs the sun bright,

    This heavenly atmosphere glorifies peace,
    Shattering darkness where evil's deceased,
A place I envision when obscurity falls under,
And guides my path here in twilight wonder,

Little angels sing in sweet, humble harmony,
Voices of purity ringing in my ears,

My salvation will come when my night sky will slumber,
And take me away into twilight wonder
