Summary: After a lengthy trial for the major Fire Nation war criminals, Ozai is found guilty of war crimes and crimes against humanity and is sentenced to death by hanging. He knew ever since Aang beat him that it was over. The sentence is to be carried out in thirty days, and in his final days, he decides to write a short autobiography and have it published to historians.

I got this idea after watching the Nuremberg Trials documentary. Also, I noticed that no deposed dictator had ever written an autobiography, and it is something I'd have liked to see. Before Milosevic bit the dust, he had plenty of opportunities to write one, especially since the Hague doesn't execute anyone. Saddam Hussein had plenty of time to contribute something to history before his appointment with the noose. In short, it's something I've always wanted to see, but I never came across it (Mein Kampf doesn't count, Hitler wrote it before he was in power). Thus this story was born.
