    any Darren Shan fans here?

Well, the saga of Darren Shan is one of my favourite book series' in the world, and I was wondering if there was anyone else around here that has read them.

Basically it's a series about a boy that has to become a vampire to save who he believes is his best friend, and..I don't wanna spoiler for anyone that's reading them, so I'll just say that it's good. Really good. It's quite bloody at some points, but not over-the-top, and it's just..good.

    So, has anyone read these?
I've been on this site since 2006 woah

So far i have loved all of the darren shan books. I have read all of the saga and am currently reading the demonata which i have only read upto the second which is demon theif. I'm also getting books three and four of the demonata for christmas so i should get through them rather quickly. Anyway about the saga, there a great series of books and i loved all the twists it had in them. I think that he sould write more books after the demonata sine he is a very good writer.

Im three chaprters away from completing "tunnels of blood." So far i have gotton three of my friends into the series as well. Its a really great one, it's morbid, funny, and even depressing at times, but thats what i love about the series.

I love Darren Shan's books. The Darren Shan saga was brilliant, to say the least. Every book was a great read.
I'm currently waiting on the next Demonata book to come out. Impatiently. He actually writes pretty quickly, compared to most authors. I've read all of his books so far and can't wait.

I'm currently reading Slawter, Book Three of the Demonata. It's brill so far. I've read the first, fifth, and am going to read the sixth one soon. I'm mainly reading the ones with Grubbs Grady in it, 'cause I love his story. Darren writes it so well.

I haven't read the Saga though. Perhaps I will soon, but for now I'm completely absorbed in the Demonata, which I'd recommend to anyone.

AH! I read one of the preview books that were being given out at my school! I can't remember for the life of me which book the preview chapter was from, but it had a red cover with a wolf on it.

I remember reading, and really wanting the books. Just that tiney booklet was enough to drive a book hater to get it.

Now that doesn't make me a fan... BUT I'm gonna get them the second I have the cash!

Red cover with a wolf on it? That'll be Lord Loss, the first Demonata book. It's a good book, I'd reccomend that you get it, lol.

Mm, you'd enjoy Lord Loss, Entity. You don't even have to buy them, just pop down to your local library. I'm sure they'd have it.

I was an anti-book worm too before I read these books. So I'm certain, that you'd like them ^^ haha.

I used to love all the vampire books he wrote ^__^ Gave me some good reading when I was younger! I liked the first Demonata book, but the second was a let down. I stopped readignt hem and I'll just say the vampire series was his only one a reassure myself he's a good author ^^
