I dreaded coming home this weekend. Easter = Family Drama + Catholic Guilt. And on this particular day I get to spend my evening finishing up some Latin homework. Sunuvabitch!
On the bright side, I just slept 9 and a half hours....mmmmm sleep.
It's Easter today. That means I get to visit with my family, make fun of my family, eat lunch/dinner with my family, watch baseball, and play Castlevania all day.
I play Castlevania every Easter. It just feels right.

I'm Catholic, so I still celebrate the Mass. In fact, I just got back from the mass. It was a very good feeling today; I agree, today is a good day. I also get to see all my family today, and do various activities with them. Too bad my throat is still sore today. Anyhoo...

I ate at Arby's then my cousin came over and I'm like, "Check this Wii out yo" because for some reason the whole motion dealy AMAZES EVERYONE. And then I have income tax to do. I'd much rather be a Colossus though, shambling through barren landscapes and bleeding oil. That would be an awesome Easter.
I would rather be a ninja, darting through a forest somewhere all stealthy-like and throwing shurikens into my enemies' necks/heads/backs. Then, I'd sneak back to my secret lair, eat my Easter dinner, and praise God for his son

But Latin is a fun subject!Originally Posted by Spekkio

Not when you're expected to have all of Wheelock's grammar and vocab learned and memorized after only 20 weeks of study.
Let's see, what did I do today? I read a few chapters of Foley Is Good, and bought Command & Conquer 3: Tiberium Wars today. Yep. 'Twas a good day.
I got to work all day (10-7 ftw!) and then came home to find out that my girlfriend's overly jealous co-worker is threatening me and making claims of owning her.
So I laughed. It was amusing.
And then I ate an AWESOME dinner. I inhaled most of the green beans because I'm a fan of such stringy vegetable-like substances. And ham. And a baked potato. And some rolls. So on and so forth, yep.

It's Easter? Wow.
I woke up at about 12:30 after 11 hours of sleep. I talked to a friend while aimlessly leveling in Disgaea 2, and now I am about to go out to dinner. I've only had a cheese sandwich today, so I'm damn hungry. And I need to shop for some food.
Is Easter really that big of an occasion?!
P.S.: I wonder if Tif is going to post drunk today. ;O
;O ;O ;O

Although really, after the initial Mass, dinner, and the family leaves... it's back to business as usual, apparently. Whatever that may be.

We went over to a friends house and she had prepared LOTs of yummy food and beer and we played Guitar Hero II on the 360 for like 8 hours straight.. jesus..

Yeah Easter never meant much for me so today wasn't anything particularly good. Uh, was drinking and watching Bond in the early morning hours. And then walked around campus drunk with my friend. Slept. Woke up. Lunch. Hung out at AJ's for a few hours... came back. Talked to a friend about ... issues. Watched some Dresden Files (that shit is good). Back, mentally distraught and lacking sleep. Woo?
What the hell did you do to those poor Cadbury Eggs?!Originally Posted by Korova

lol, I never saw this thread last Easter. I was in Chicago cooking ham and mashed potato and made some salad stuffed pasta shells for appetizer. They turned out pretty good actually.
If I wasn't trying to be fit and healthy, I'd be all over that chocolate bunny sale =S

Clearly Buddha wasn't on their side. Now THAT's comedy. The ending wasn't so happy for the ones that were recaptured. They were expected to complete the trip to a slaughterhouse, authorities said.
