Ah, yes. I forgot about Besaid. Perhaps I/he will make my/his way to Killika due to something or other.
EDIT: I just posted, and Kino's on his way to Killika. He'll most likely meet Sabina and Sano on their way out of Killika, seeing as though it's an overnight trip.

If Nova is unlikely to post then there's no point in replacing him, if he fails to show by the end of the week I suggest you just 'kill him off' i.e. he's gone missing and nobody can really be bothered to find him seeing as Yu has the potential to make two more guardians within the next few posts.
Of course, a lot more subtly than that. You can't just say "Oh noes, Nova is gonez! Oh well... I can't be bothered looking for him, lulz"
So yeah, replacing him will just cause bother if he comes back.
Also, am I right in assuming that this RP takes place before Lord Braska's pilgrimage, the details in the first post were sketchy and it would make no sense for Sin to be back after Lady Yuna's pilgrimage.

Aw, let's just wait another few days. Please? What if he's having some problems with his computer or something? Let's just be patient a while longer. We can still go on without him for the time being.
I really suggested a week, and after all, if done correctly he could return after being cut. It just means you won't have to write dialog and control him, etc.
Also, I sort of feel that Sabina and Sano have advanced slightly further ahead than everyone else. So I'm going to leave off posting until Yu and guardians catch up with the present time (evening) as I really don't want to start a new day without everyone else being ready, considering the idea is to have Sabina and Yu enter the Temple at round about the same time.
Well, erm, I just checked and it said he hasn't been online since 4/10/08...
So that's just over two weeks...so ya know, he's probably just busy. I'm sure he'll be on soon. Besides, by the time me, Cid, Seraph, and CK get this whole meeting and becomng guardians thing done and head back to the pub to meet Nova, he may be back then.
And if not...well what are we gonna do with his character?
We will simply make him vanish, or something along those lines. It seems like the only thing to do.

I know! He can fall into the sea on the way to Besaid from an attack from Sin or a Sin spawn. Then, if he returns, he could just say he washed up on a shore somewhere and made his way back to the mainland to find his fellow guardians and summoner.
It's stupid, but kind of easy to do since we'll be going on a boat anyway. Until then, he'll just have no say in any matter and act as a side character that doesn't need controling.

Well, with that idea, no one was really needed to fully control him. You know how you've got minor characters in books that are just there? There are descriptions of their actions sometimes and what they say, but they are only noted every now and then. I was thinking of just having Cid and you having little bits of whatever you think he would do in your posts so that there wouldn't need to be separate posts just for him. Kind of like this:
"And then Nova came up to the group and greeted them. Yu was glad he was back....and said, "blah blah blah."
Nova agreed and followed the three as they went to the temple."
Then, Yu does whatever he wants. Like what we all do in our posts regularly with recapping what someone else does. Just, not so detailed until he falls of the boat. Then, we should make sure some sort of flotation device falls too so that it will be more of a mystery when he disappears.
If that's weird, I'll take over his character if no one else wants to. I'm pretty sure I can handle it in an okay manner.

He could always become an Unsent, and come back because his attachment and devotion to Yu was so great, or some big sop story like that.
But I did think of Sin before. Sounds good, but reminiscent of FFX. How about an attack by a something grossly overpowered like a Behemoth?

Oh, and I hope you guys don't mind, but I've just posted and the way I've made it go is that Hana is a little unsure and unervy of Raven, is that okay?
That's fine, all the more interesting. I want to have our look for Nova, then we can get to the temple part after we go to Raven's home and rest.

....I vote for his vanishing. Nothing needs to be done other than directing a few thoughts of the party towards him every now and then. It seems the like the least amount of hassle.
Yeah, just let him vanish. Sin would be more epic, but more effort... But epic is fun. If you leave without him for some reason, he can always catch up if he returns. Can I split my vote? No? Then I'll just go for vanish. Really, though I am not affected by this, it's more Yu and Hana.

That's 3 votes for vanishing, as Doc said the Sin thing is too epic and would probably mean that myself, Doc and Bleach would be further delayed in posting, since Sano and Sabina are currently ahead in time than Yu, Hana, Nova and Raven.
Also, I have to apologise that over the next month I won't be able to post as often as I have. Important exams and all that. Life-deciding, yeah...

Hmm...yeah, having him vanish would probably be the best way to go. The Sin idea would be quite cool, but a bit too much hassel >.< and I think we just need to get on with it and catch up, rather than create more stuff that will delay us.

It's not entirely unanimous; Seraph didn't vote. But whatever. So, if he's going to just vanish, should our characters put up less effort in searching for him, or should they just keep doing what they've been doing so things seem more natural?
Oh, and quick question. After Kilika, are the two parties (Sabina and Yu) going to follow the same routes to Zanarkand, or separate and meet up occasionally?
I think it would be best to do it briefly. Sort of like "They searched for ages for Nova, blah blah blah, ....etc." Of curse in a little more detail, but still brief so that searching for him doesn't take up loads of our posts. I think it would be easier that way >.<
As for the two different parties...I think it would be a cool idea if they raced each other! ^.^ But I guess we'll just have to see how we go, heh.
