I thought I remembered something happening to someone with a broken hand. Well he's been gone for a while now it will not be a lose if he does not return. It would be nice if he did come back, but it will not hurt the RP.

And as Xeim I'll be taking over Kaiigaiishi. I am planning on keeping him as close as before with what Suzu had, but I'm not Suzu so it will not be the same. Once I finish some of the other things I need to be doing I will be posting in the RP. Which is hopefully this weekend. I should be able to do it.

I've been contemplating how to finish the conversation with Mai and Haruka, and I think I have just the thing. I'll see if I can work on some posts today, as Bleach isn't the only post for me to work on.

Aye Toph, that it is. Uhm, I think it's safe to say Kuradic isn't going to come back. I didn't really expect him too. >_>

So, yeah. Kuradic's officially out of the RP, and his character is officially Toph Bei Fong's.

Forgive the short post, but I don't have much else to say, expect that school starts tomorrow so my online schedule will probably become quite irregular. I'm going to try and be on as much as possible though.

The RP is going downhill, I would say. Out of the eleven that signed up for this, only four of us remain. And even so, some that signed up never even posted. I think it is safe to say that the RP is slowly dying.

I think it was kind of going downhill by the time I joined. Though I think the proper term would be "coming out of a slump".

And no, I don't think it's slowly dieing. It's just slow. (There's a difference.) People are still posting. Though I think what needs to happen is the skipping of all the classes, cause they're pretty boring. The only real important things are the interactions in between classes, or those very rare partnerships within classes.

Well I am got my post up for Kaiigaiishi. I noticed that Suzu had included a shorter version of his name, so as a way to sort of seeing that he is new person I am adopting that name. So he is going to be Kagashi now, with some brief moments referring back to the old name. But other than that I am going to keep him about the same as he was.

I don't really know where he lies in terms of strengths and weaknesses so I guess I will be making that up as I go along. I'll probably have him be good at swordsmanship and have him to work with Steph to pass his swordsmanship class which he will be failing a lot. It'll work out well.

The rest well, I'll be keeping in touch with Xeim about Kagashi and Haruka scenes. I included a bit of one in this post to mix things up a little. But it was nothing too big, so it does not really interrupt the flow of what you two were doing before.

Ok, well, with my school starting tomorrow, I have no idea how long it's going to be before I can log back in long enough to make a coherrant post. Therefore, I'm going to explain the tests that will take place after everyone goes back to their dorm to sleep (timeskip).

On the same note, before I begin, Oathkeeper. I know that you and I have arranged to have detension together. Since I do not want you to design the detention all by yourself (you'd be controlling my character mjorly. ) I'd have to ask you to have the detention at a different time than me. Unless, of course, I am able to write a post during the week. It is highly unlikely. If I do in fact have the time however, I'll contact you. If I don't...I'll have to take a raincheck on the detension thing.

I am so, so sorry! I feel terrible, as I know you want character interaction. But I really want a say in what my character does. ^^;

But back to the tests.

I'll mostly leave it up to you RPers to decide, but it is definately important for me to give you guys a good solid outline.

-swordsmanship (demonstration of basic skills). So, basically you'll just be demonstrating to the teachers how good you are in the basic skills. Slashes thrusts....slices etc.

-Kidou (demonstration of ability to mold spirit energy as well as preform very basic spells). Just what it says. Probably only one or two spells though. No fire. Very basic. Stick to binding and whatever's similar.

-written portion (to test knowledge of Soul Society, shinigami, and all things associated with them). history of soul society, various things regarding zapukto, questions on the governmnetal structure of the gotei 13 (captain commander and the captains), even questions on the current captains. (leave out divisions 3,5, and....whatever Tousen's was. )

Forgive the rushed feeling of this post. I feel terrible for not giving more detail, or even sample questions. However, I will go into more depth if time allows it. I need to go now, and don't know when I'll return. Hopefully this will be enough to tie you all over 'till the weekend when I know I can post. If you haven't gotten to the tests by then....expect a bit more detail!

shunpo: Show how far you can get. Will probably be farther (if you choose to specify) than the first day of training. But really, don't go very far. I doubt you'll get 20 feet let alone...100. >_> Be reasonable.

Alright. I'm glad you understand Oath. Though, there is the chance that I will be able to work on a post with you. It just doesn't seem probable. My next post (that I'll write either Fri or Sat) will probably only cover shunpo, so detention may have to wait till next week for me. Yeah, I'll be falling behind, but I'll be able to catch up. I don't really want to do a long-arsed post if I don't HAVE to, but I will if need be. I guess really, it depends on how long I have on the computer over the weekend. I may not be able to be on all day. It would be nice to finish my day off in one really long post so that I'm to the tests for when you guys get there. Speaking of which, I have a more detailed explaination for you all!

Swordsmanship

Demonstrate your character's knowledge of the sword. Basic stances, thrusts, slashes, and slices will be preformed for this test. Do not perform combos, aerial assaults, or advanced swordplay. This tests the basics. It shows your character's knowledge of the basic information regarding swordplay. If you know nothing, look swordplay up (OMG writers actually research) or ask an RP member who seems to know. I don't want these tests to be as hard as a real one. Obviously, you've already decided (Or have a general idea of) what's going to happen with your characters.

If you major or minor in this subject, your character will rank into an A or B level class.

If swordsmanship was not one of your choices, where you are placed is up to you.

Kidou

BASIC, BASIC spells. I know in my original explanation I didn't really give you much of an idea of acceptable spells. I'll include a list at the bottom of this section. In the beginning of the test, your character will demonstrate how quickly and easily he or she can mold spirit energy and form it into a sphere on their hand. Characters will repeat this a couple of times, before moving onto the next section of the test. Spellcasting. Characters will be casting the spells on a medium ranked shinigami. How he/she is described is up to you guys. Add onto what the first person says about them. Mold the character your own way. You may also choose to have the shinigami tire from being under all the spells and bring in a new one. Spells that must be performed are as follows:

-binding spell #1 restrain (the first sai is evidently used with “first” replacing “#1” and “sai” probably meaning something along the lines of “restrain” . However, please do not use this version)

-destructive spell #4 White Lightning

I am not going to ask you to heal as of yet. It seems to me that since not all shinigami learn to heal, it may be a special class. I'll work out all the gory little details when a character who wants to be a healer gets to a point where he/she is going to need to take the course.

If you major or minor in this subject, your character will rank into an A or B class level.

If Kidou was not one of your choices, where you are placed is up to you.

Shunpo

If you guys were to go overboard with a test, this would be the one. Your character will NOT be doing all out shunpo. They'll be doing two successive jumps, one right after the other. Characters will be graded on the overall length that they jumped, as well as how far they got with each jump. To measure, they'll carry a stick. Not like one from a tree. Just a little marker. As soon as the character's feet touches the ground, drop it and then jump again.

Single jump

12.1 feet to 13.5 feet for class A
8-12 feet for class B
2-7.9 feet for class C
below 2 is a fail

Overall

24-26 feet for class A
16-23 for class B
4-15 feet for class C

There'll be some variations between the two jumps. I expect the second one to be smaller. >_> Logic people. That's why the length of both individual jumps and overall jumps will be graded. It shows the difference between the first and second jumps as well as how far your character can go. Basically, how you need to pace yourself to get farther faster. Ideally, you don't want much of a difference between the two jumps.

Notice I said to 13.5 for class A. I don't want ANYONE going over that number (for single jumps). That's the only reason I set the boundaries. I know you all are level headed, but I still don't want you to, even accidently, go too far. That's never fun. >_>

I know these numbers seem small. But, we're just figuring out the methods. Distance is not going to be very different from normal jumping right now. The method is just different.

Written Test

Ah yes! Everyone's favorite! The written portion. We did not study any of the material on the test, so how your character performs is based on the knowledge they have of Soul Society prior to entering the academy. Most of them will know about the Arrancar. We're under the impression that the arrancar caused quite an uproar before they were put down, so we have a basic understanding of them. I don't want anything huge on this test. Just basic questions that people have probably heard about through gossip or news.

Big topics to be discussed here:

-arrancar (nothing like “What espada number was Ulquiorra”)

-current captains

-zanpukto

-duties of shinigami

I'll give 5 sample questions. The test will be closer to 50, but I don't expect you to list them all. Simply use these five, or use SOME of these and add your own on. You will not ace this portion unless your character is a gossip queen/king. I don't expect a lot of A classes, or even B's. Most of us will probably end up in a C class on these subjects (at first). However, where you want to be placed is up to you. Though, make the decision based on your character's personality. I'll put up the sample questions now, but before I do I'd like to tell you that I'll be putting a class list at the end of this. Not a schedule, just a class list. It will tell you what classes this affects. I should think it obvious (once you see the list), but if you need clarification, let me know.

Sample Questions:

1)Who is the current Captain of division ten? HINT: He is the youngest captain

2)Who led the arrancar in the attack on the king of Soul Society/Karakura Town? HINT: He is a former shinigami captain

3)True or false. Zanpukto are the physical manifestation of the shinigami's memory. (the answer is false before you become confused. Though, this part of the question wouldn't be on the test…)

4)What kind of souls to shinigami perform konso on? (good/bad; pluses/hollows)

5)What is the reason you are in the academy? (What job are you trying to acquire?)

30-50/50 for Class A.
20-29/50 for Class B
2-19/50 for Class C
below 2 is a fail


Hand-to-Hand Combat

Ok, we didn't have a class for this. So, we're saying that hand to hand was originally part of swordsmanship. Therefore, you'll have a portion on it in the test. Basic punches, kicks and blocks will be demonstrated. Characters will be practicing against another shinigami, once again. And, once again, I don't expect anything fancy.

If you major or minor in this subject, your character will rank into an A or B class level.

If hand-to-hand combat was not one of your choices, where you are placed is up to you.

Please PM me with the "grade of classes" you want your character to take. Do not take all A's. You may take all B's, or all C's if you choose. If you don't plan to move on to normal classes and remain in basic training, PM me or post in the thread. I already know Andro is (with Steph) so you're covered. Though, I would like you to PM me with what classes Kagashi is taking. ^^

If you have any questions on this, want to add a class to the list, and/or think something within the tests should be modified Pm me or post here. I don't want anything set in stone right now. ^^;;

It's really up to Xeim if you're allowed to rejoin the RP, because this RP is club members only in the first place. And you never posted in the club like you promised you would, which is another reason why you got booted.

Haku appears very genial and talkative. He likes to learn a great deal about those with whom he associates. He also is very fond of surprises. It takes a great deal to unseat him emotionally. It’s more important to him that people accept him. And he loves to socialize. He is not aware of how tremendously different and strange he is. Being unusually gleefully morbid and using an unnatural vocabulary. He tends to move altogether with a calculated minimalism and grace. He can also dwell in thought for great periods of time when a problem is presented to him.

Beneath the surface. Haku is unpleasantly manipulative. He enjoys counterfeiting geniality and foolishness merely to appear disarming. He orchestrates events to his eventual success and, when disposed to, he likes to orchestrate his friend’s success as well. Although he has a roster of close-friends, when it comes to large matters he has difficulty in maintaining loyalty and is likely to try different roles. His potential for evil or good is about equal with an instilled sense of justice that he bends his way.

Haku likes his hair to fall over his face and maintains it at shoulder length. He keeps his eyes blacked with make-up to cut down any possible glare. He wears and prefers to keep clothes to a comfortable casual level. He truly despises the sun and can be found wearing a rice hat on occasion. For further appearance needs, see avatar. He has an unusual accent for speaking. It's a dry handsome stoic voice with a hint of creak that can reach high pitches when he's excited.

He tends to starve easily and loves vegetarian dishes. Preferring items like Buddha’s Delight to anything with meat. He also lives off of citrus drinks and pomegranate juice and delights in combining drinks with Awamori and over-indulging resulting in his façade falling away and becoming very sullen.


Background:

Haku likes to be guarded and conservative with his past. He finds it uncomfortably strewn with pain and his old fears. He prefers to look forwards instead.

It would take a tremendous event for him to ever reveal large parts of his past in front of others. Either a tremendous event or a tremendous amount of trust. However his shocks and tragedies made him a much freer person with a somewhat morbid turn.

The denizens of the Soul Society did not sort well with Haku, who always tried to blend in but was obviously out of place. He was adopted as a surrogate brother by a girl named Akane Makishima. He has deep ties to her through strong channels of trust that he would never forget. Nothing would stand in his way of securing her life so he has an invested interest in keeping the soul society safe.

Very nice profile, Sinister. I don't see anything wrong with it right now. I'm sorry that it is going to be a little while before you can enter the shinigami academy. If you'd like, you can do a few posts on your life in Rukongai while you're waiting. You won't be able to interact with anyone, but at least you can begin to get a feel for your character. If you'd rather wait until you can join the academy though, that's perfectly reasonable. I just want to give you options. ^^

That's fine. I'll introduce the character and get the feel of it. I'm just happy to be able to write again. But I do have a question. Theoretically, how long in days or weeks, ect...(from our perspective) has it been since we have been killed? That way I have a bit of info I need for my first entry plus I know what sort of a timeline we're working with here.

It's been ten years since our death. We're assuming Soul Society has the same sort of time system as the real world. Though, whether it is parallel to the real world is a different story. If you need to know how long it is in real world terms...then I suppose you'd want to assume the time runs parallel for simplicity's sake. So ten year's either way. xD I guess that whole paragraph was sort of uneeded. o_O

Evangel: Er...It's too early to have hollow powers. You don't even have Shinigami powers yet. ^^; I have no problems with you becoming a vizard eventually...but realistically that can't happen until we've graduated and moved up through the ranks a bit. You also have to be ready to accept the consequences of that, meaning you'd be banished...possibly put on an execution trial. So, I'm sorry, but I'm going to have to ask you to edit your post. ^_^;

Sinister: Amazing posts! Only thing, is that we weren't torn from the bus. We were walking up the mountain when the hollows attacked us. But that's a minor detail. I'm excited to have Haku in the story. Now we just need to get through test day so he can join. ^^;

I'm currently writing up my next post. It was going to be up earlier today as in like 8 hours ago, but it seems that it blew up. Doesn't help that I got a little distracted, but needless to say that what was originally going to be a couple pages for the test that I had work it is actually turning into a whole heck of a lot more than what I was planning. That said, I'm going to be still getting it out tomorrow without since I'm alright halfway finished with it I think. I might be more than halfway. It is running about five pages currently, so it is going to be a healthy post. But I'm covering a far amount of ground with things.

So when I wake up I'm going to finish the post and have it up. So you can look forward to it sometime in the afternoon more than likely. It just depends on how much more I get carried away with things. Though from the post it is pretty clear that I am favoring Steph in just about every way. I'm giving him more development than Kagashi, but I'm still trying to sort him out since he was not my character to originally begin with. I'll have more plans with Kagashi once he passes the test.

That said I did take some liberties with Tamashi, Shadow. I don't think you'll mind what I did, but when you read it let me know if you have any complaints with what I did. But now I need to get to sleep shortly.

I decided to just delete the post absolutely, Xeim. It was total rubbish and was something I just made up to throw in before today. I didn't plan on giving Mugen Hollow powers yet, I suppose you had that assumption. I'll post a new one later tonight or tomorrow since I don't have school for the rest of the week (time to catch up on Naruto Shippuuden and catch this week's Bleach). I'll edit this post when I do.

Also, when we get later in the story, say fighting Hollows, I'd like to create a non-Espada Arrancar (duh) character if that would be O.K.?
