- Well I managed to post in the RP. I think it's one of my best posts ever.>.< Also Suzu refused to type even though I tied him down. (Not really) He wasn't home for some reason. I'll try again tomorrow. Though I might need to buy some thicker ropes.
-Vicky, do you want our characters to end up as friends somehow? Or stay as rivals?
-
Uhm.. why can't we be both? Rivals doesn't mean you can't be friends you know.
But either way, I didn't even know we were considered rivals in the first place. I already had another character that Shino was going to be a rival with, but I guess rivals can be multiple.
I liked your post though, but one thing. There were only three, not four. =\
Read posts more thoroughly please. ^^
And I think you have also misinterpreted Shunpo. It is not something where you 'wish' to be at a location and you're there. It is 'Flash Steps'. It's like dashing really fast. Like how the DBZ move and whatnot? It's like that. So you can't do it without knowing about it. >.>;
-
Well if Suzu posts soon that will be good. I'd hate to see Xeim held back too long from being able to do more. Especially since we are moving on the the Kidou class know apparently. Along with its rediculiously long winded names that you have to call out. Should be interesting at the very least.
And Shadow is correct, there were only three people ganging on up Steph not four. That aside it should be interesting to see where things go now between the characters.
-
-See I saw it has four because it said 3 shouted out in unison and attacker her. I thought that didn't include the "leader". But if it was really four I'll change that right now.
-Shunpo, I simply did it that he wanted to get out fast, like run away from there. So he ended up shunpo'ing out of there. (If that's a word)
-
Oh okay. That makes sense, then. I just thought you made a different thing out of it. =P
And yea, it's only three. Sorry for the confusion.
-
-Ok I'll go change that in my post now. Also if Suzu doesn't post today he might not be able to post tomorrow either. For a reason I don't think I should say. But anyways he's back, and he said his post is gonna be uber long because he has to catch up on where he left off. From now on though it might be a little hard for me and him to post because of summer reading>.>.
-
Well, he told me he was working on it last night, staying up late.
So far, last I checked, he's sparring in swordplay right now. So he still has a bit to go before it's finished.
-
Well then, he better post today. If he doesn't, he'll tie up more members than just himself. (like me)
I'd really like to start my next post and enter the kidou class, but I cannot do that unless suzu posts the rest of our conversation. So, somehow he needs to be motivated, injected with caffeine, and locked in a room until he has that post done.
Ok, well, maybe not that drastic...but the point is, we need him to post.
-
-ohhh...I already did the tieing him down part...>.<;
-Xeim would it be bad if in my next post I show that Kuragari heard the rest of the sentence and knows his zanpaktou's name? He just doesn't know it's for his zanpaktou? Or is there supposed to be some other way bleach does it that you want us to do?
-
I think it would be bad, as nobody else is even close to knowing or even seeing their zanpakutou. You're getting way ahead of the pack, here.
I'm trying not to have Shino even see a glimpse of her zanpakutou avatar, because if she does, she'll automatically know who it is, given her background.
=\ What's the rush, dude?
-
Oh yes....your post...I suppose I should've addressed this in my last post. ^^;
You do realize that it takes shinigami centuries to see the physical manifestation of their blades. You do also realize that your character knows next to nothing about zanpukto's...and we haven't even recieved them yet. You do also remember me saying that we won't be learning their names for sometime, right?
Now, I'll let you see your zanpukto because you didn't know what was going on, and it seems to me like it was trying to get you to go to class.
However, you do know that seeing it makes your character go against everything bleach stands for, even though he's pretty much normal. And, frankly. I don't like it.
However, if you had payed attention, you would not have to ask questions such as these. The posts in OOC's are there for reasons.
-
-Well I don't remeber reading anything about not letting us see our zanpaktou as a premonition or something. Or just through a dream. But if it was discussed or if it was mentioned somewhere in the 100+ episodes of bleach then I'll change it. I do remeber not knowing the name now that I think about it. But I that's why I was asking to see if I could have heard it or not... So I'll delete the dream and just replace it with me going to kidou class or something. EDIT: When I find the time
-
No, you didn't read anything because it was not worth discussing. Almost anyone who watches bleach knows that it takes centuries to see the physical manifestation of your zanpukto...or at least a really long time. Unless you're character is "special" in some way you would NEVER see it as an academy student. NEVER.
When I told you to re-read the OOC, that was because we HAD discussed zanpukto's and learning their names. Briefly I believe, but we had.
So, it'd be nice if you changed your post. Not entirely neccessary, but it would be prefered. When you get the time? Well, you should probaby do it before you post again, so please do not take too long.
-
Im still in the process of tring to figure out what my zanpukto dude is going to look like. Like Ichigo has a older man, Renji has a baboo. Not sure which direction to go.
Maybe I should make Zanpakuto be like a hot chick. Yeah that wouldn't be bad.
-
They do not really make it clear in Bleach, at least not yet how long it is before a shinigami actually sees their avatar. In the case of Ichigo it was in weeks, but he is a special case. I know that the thing with Renji is coming up so I will know better than in his reaction of seeing his and whether he talks to his frequently or not.
But I would think that if you know the name of your Zanpukto you would have had to gain it in some fashion. I guess it could just be a voice, but I'd imagine it would also be through actually speaking to the avatar. I would agree that it is too early to learn the name, however I'm not sure what the problem is with seeing the avatar. I didn't think that seeing the avatar would be something that would take centuries to do. It seems fairly insignificant, but I haven't seen all of Bleach yet so I'm just making that decision off what I know.
-
I agree it would take a long time to see your swords true form.
When you get your Zanpakuto it just a normal sword depending on how big you want it. But you never see the avatar itself till you try to achieve Shikai. Well at least thats how it was for Ichigo. Some character dp say about talking to their swords avatar.
-
Yes, Ichigo is a special case. Therefore, everything that happens to him defies logic- which means we overlook him. Now, Andromeda, someone like Steph is kind of an Ichigo case. Things that he does goes against the logic- but that's because of who he is. You've established that he's not normal. However, most of the other RP characters are, so we follow the basic logic.
Seeing the physical manefestation of your zanpukto is the first step of achieving bankai. Obviously, it is not easy, seeing that obtaining bankai takes years to achieve. You do not need to see your zanpukto to achieve shikai. They haven't really talked about achieving shikai much, but from what I gather, you do in fact speak to your zanpukto...however, even if you see him (vaguely or clearly) in your mind's eye he cannot appear before you. Still, this is NO EASY TASK. The fact that Kuradic's character sees his zanpukto before it even exists is insane.
I'll explain our method for obtaining various things associated with zanpukto's after we GET THEM. Until then, unless your character is "different" or some sort of prodigy...let's not have ANY encounters with out zanpukto's. And yes I sound strict and rude, but I don't want to exit bleach's boundaries.
Thank you,
--Xeim--
-
Yeah, that's pretty much what I wanted to say, but Xeim put down her fist of iron and smited those who, um.. needed to be smited. =D
But yeah.. I read your post Oath, and wow... that..
That's some stuff, man....
That's some stuff... *cough*
-
Aw crap was it bad?
I'll change it if ya want.
Sorry.
-
Well the only thing that really stood out, was all the, erm... exclamations that were dialogue instead of, erm.. description. >.>;
AHHHH!!!! EHHH!!!!! HAHAHAHAHAHHA!!1111one UGHGhhHHH!!!!1111 =P
-
Oh yeah. Sorry I was being over dramatic. I made my guy a goofy kind of loud guy. And I was kind of straying away from that. But I understand I won't do that so much next time.
-
It's fine that he's goofy and loud, but you don't need to use caps and excessive exclamations in the dialogue. There's ways to do that when you describe how he speaks.
Like, this, for example:
“A woman. Pfft. Hahaha! You mean your whole group fought head to head with her and you all got your asses kicked. Haha!” he sat the guy back down on the ground and laughed hysterically in the corner. He clenched his sides as tears ran down both cheeks.
"Oh man, you're killing me." Zeno said as he finally got his act together and calmed his laughing.
--------------------
Something like that. ^_^
-
Gotcha
I'll keep that in mind. I kind of rushed it to be honest, i'll take it slower.
Thanks for the advice.
-
Since Suzu has not made his post yet, I took the liberty of finishing our conversation myself. I apologize if it is not to his liking, but I was not about to be held back by it. >.<
So, yeah, that's that. I look foward to seeing Suzu's post still, and, I will be making another post within the next few days that'll catch me up with you all who've already entered Kidou class.
-
xD I finished my post!! Finally! *Walks sluggishly to everyone with open arms to hug them, but fell quickly to the ground with great weariness and fatigue.* I am very tired right now and worked/forced my butt to finishing it. Hopefully it is good, but I feel that the post sucked as it lengthened. T.T
xD Seeing that there will be more posts, I think that I will not get eternal rest and peace for quite some time.
-
Oh my goodness that is alot to read..............can someone give me a summary????
lol kidding i'll read it. Better late than never.
-
Well, I'm quite embarrased to say that I was just able to finish reading suzu's post. It was very good, but there was a minor error towards the end. The thing that interrupts my answer to Kaigaiishi's question is Mai's approach, and not the kid coming in to say how 'Nyuu-chan' is being beaten up. That incident causes Mai/Shino to leave.
I suppose I really should quickly write up another post so I can get into Kidou class before everyone else begins to leave, so I'll try to post as soon as I can. I don't want to make any promises though, because I do have other RP posts I've been neglecting for too long. I do hope to have one up no later than Monday however.
-
Well I'm posting in part so that Xeim can if she was wanting and not wanting to double post with whole forum being down for about a week. That said, I am going to be working on my post tomorrow since I am doing something else currently that is taking a little more presidence.
I think I brought the subject up with Shadow when I was talking to him, but I don't think that I got an answer. So Xeim how many classes are we taking in the day? I'm assuming not all of them. And we are going to be getting some grade or something at the end of the sword training in a week or something like that, right?
-
>.> Yeah, I was informed...and Vicky should've given you an answer.... *looks at Vicky O_o*
But no matter! I should really answer it here anyway. >.>
I was thinking that we were going to have three classes a day. Therefore, the schedule would go something like this:
Swordsmanship
breakfast
Kidou
midday meal of sort
shunpo
evening meal of some sort
return to dorms
So, for the first week of school, that's basically what will happen. After that however, the schedules will get a bit more complex. Basically I'm going to have three levels of classes. C is for those who are just barely making it through, B is for mediocre (sp?) students, and A is for the skilled. I'll also say that it is possible to be in A class for swordsmanship and C class for Kidou. Of course, there will also be more classes than the initial three. Though, the rank of the initial three will be decided by tests in each class at the end of the week.
As for classes like History of Soul Society and one on the zanpuktou, we probably should have a quick written test. But we'll get to that when the time comes. For now, just focus on the basic schedule above.
And yes, we'll get a grade in the classes based upon how we preform on the tests at the end of the week. The grade will determine what classes we are placed into from then on.
Eh, I hope that clears thing up. It may cause more questions to arise of course, and I'm definately willing to answer them, but know I will explain the more advanced schedules in more detail when the time comes.
Also, I have...news. Mr. Sandman seems to be taking a permanent leave from the forums, and as such, we are dropping his character. Since no one's really done any major interaction with him, and he never posted about Soul Society, there's no need to turn him into an NPC.
And, I will probably start another post as well...I've been working on Shadowed Commitment lately, so I haven't done one for this yet. >.> Hopefully you'll see one from me in the next couple days.

So many meals for people that are dead. The only reason to eat is to regain lost spirit energy, but we are not going to be expending so much energy all the time. We still have tastes and stomaches, just seems that focusing on meals is a little unnecessary in the grand scheem of things.
We have a shunpo class to end the day huh. So what happens with people that fail completely a class, but excel elsewhere? Does Steph just get to retake the classes until he is passable in all at the very least? Or something else?
