I came across a few songs and i cant find them anywhere to either download for free or buy. A few I found on playlist.com but otherwise that nowhere else.

wasnt sure if limewire was safe.. I know if your not carefull you can DL some pretty nasty viruses so i shyd away from it. Is it good though?

I honestly wouldn't use any direct P2P programs. A torrent program would usually do better, though if you really NEED a direct download for something, megadownload.net is a good search engine for finding things from megaupload or rapidshare (whom are both legal download sites). Of course, you won't get the best download speeds and such, it is pretty decent to use for direct downloads.
Another thing to note is ANY direct P2P programs can carry plenty of viruses, so be sure you're getting the right file and such. And be sure to have your antivirus up.
yea downloaded limwire, comp got hit witha virus in 10 out of the 13 files i Dled.. its really sad.. Think i still have a few on here too -.-, anyway gonna turn internet off and run a scan.

Yea I have used limewire for a couple of years and never had any problems, I always pay attention to the size of songs (there are some either really small or large file sizes that indicate something dodgy) and look at the song details, usually they show comments or key words that can give a pretty good indication. Just from what I have heard and read the viruses and other nasties have usually been found with mainstream music. But at the end of the day avoiding P2P programs is the best way for you to have some assurance that you wont end up with something you dont want, it`s all a bit of a gamble!
its ok, i dont hold any of you except myself responsible lol, and no nothing bad I was smart enough to have my anti virus up as I Dled them. I did however get a few of those songs
