So I am sure you are wondering which "jacked up lyrics" I am talking about, well I am refering to your jacked up lyrics. I am curious to see who has (and is willing to admit) that they at one point thought a song went a certain way only to find out later on that they where completely wrong. Feel free to add a story to how you found out you where wrong if you want.

I have not seen a thread like this so I figured I would start one and leave it up to the mods to decide if it is in the right place or not haha.

To start off I will put a few that either my wife or I have messed up.

Artist: ZZ top
Song: Sharp dressed man
At one point I thought the lryics went "everyone goes crazy about a shot glass man". Don't ask me where I got that from but when I finally found out the title of the song it made sence haha. I was really young when I made this mistake.

Song: Terrible Lie
The wife and I where heading back from Wichita KS on night when this song came on we where both singing it when the corous came up, I decided to lay back and let the wife sing solo heh, when all of the sudded she sang "tell em a lie" for some reason this was extreamly funny to me, after finding out what it really said she felt a little on the stupid side, but I jut told her it was ok and that everyone makes mistakes.
