    Temple of The Dog

This is not a mainstream group but those dedicated to all that is grunge has surely heard this band. It is the brain-child of grunge legend Eddie Vedder, and Chris Cornell.

For those who have not heard anything about them check it out...

Personally I love this band, and was saddened when they only released one album. Those who know of them love em or hate em.

I have to agree that ToD was a great band but if they wouldn't of disbanded then we would not of had the head smashing songs that Chris Cornell pumped out with Soundgarden.

I listened to both of those bands alot when I was younger and I must say that I was glad there was a deffinant destinction between the two.

ToD hit the airwaves after SG made it famous and for a while they where both played equally on the radio but ToD's glory was cut short due to the fact they only had the one album.

I wish they would do a come back but with Eddie Vedder still goofing around with Pearl Jam I don't see this happening anytiem soon.

The clostest thing that has been done to a reunion would be back in October of this year when Cornell was on stage with Vedder and they sang Hunger Strike. I was really suprised that this didn't spark a reunion rumor.

Oh well, with all that said I think they are great and it was a bad deal they didn't do more then one album.

I have to be honest with you I have never been a huge Soundgarden fan. I like Chris Cornell, but SoundgardenI couldn't stand. I liked one song andn the was Spoonman. When Cornell formed Audioslave I thought I would dispise them also, but alas I loved em they rule

QFT. I really believe they could have been huge together. I see a reunion in the making eventually.

While I am a fan of their new album Backspace, I too would like to see them come back. I would rather see a new ToD album than a new PJ album.

I thought that this for sure would spark a reunion, but it didn't happen. Maybe if all the ToD fans just start bitching and whining they might have a reunion.

I am a pretty big Grunge fan,so I have definatly heard of them. I wish I owned the official album, but I only have a burned copy.

Temple of the Dog have been a pretty big part of my music listening over the past 3 years. I can't get enough of Hunger Strike and Say Hello To Heaven(you know, all the big hits). However, the album had a lot of great songs to offer. Unfortunatly people only seem to know Hunger Strike(atleast the ones I talk to).

    Re: Temple of The Dog

This is a nice little album and Chris Cornell (And Eddy Vedder (sic?)) are both great singers! I don't have this album on iTunes yet because my dad can't find the CD but I hope he does.

    You call me a dog
    and
    Say hello to heaven
    Are great songs =^.^=

Mother Love Bone is a great band too. Apple was the only album they had and I think this one is a tribute to Andrew Wood. The singer for Mother Love Bone that died.
