    Re: Techno

I'm going to assume you just mean electronic music in general, personally I hate catagorizing every artist into some sub-genre just because on album is a little darker or a little lighter than someone similar..**** SUB GENRES!

My favorite song would have to be Airwave by Rank 1. I believe this is a remix version, but most electronic songs are so...yea, check it out!

YouTube - Rank 1 - Airwave (Aaron Static 2009 Remix)

Another artist I stumbled upon recently was Kusanagi from japan, some really cool stuff coming out of the J land.

    Re: Techno

I'm more of a trance/electronica/house fan, so I like listening to some DJ Tiesto(seen live), Deadmau5, Paul Oakenfold(will see in may), Above and Beyond (seen live), and Armin van Buuren.

also, though its really noobish, I'm a big fan of eurobeat as well. David Rodgers and his one million other secret artist names are all amazing lol.

Then again this one is kind of on the outs with me if she doesn't straighten up and fly right so that means I will be back in it for the thrill of the kill. Got some in the reserves. Even got a rePETEr (<---- like that ay? AYYYYY?) on the back burner.

Block: I do like the rePETEr except it kinda makes it sound like you're going to pork Pete. No homo.

    Re: Techno

I mostly listen to a bunch of different electronic sub-genres such as: techno, trance, rave, house, eurobeat, happy hardcore, and drum n' bass to name a few.

It is somewhat hard for me to name my top three electronic artists as most of my cds are "Best of..."; I have a few of "Best of Trances", a "Best of House", some "This is Rave", Trance Party, and a couple of Techno Parties. I could recommend some cds that I find to be amazing as well, which I'll do just to give you more options.

My top three artist though with my favourite song from them are:

    Sanxion-7: Eternus
DJ Sharpnel: Subaru in the Wind
    Lasgo: Something

Sanxion-7 is a guy based out in Wisconsin who won a competition and got "Eternus" put into DDR Supernova 2. A vast majority of his songs I find to be very good and he is probably my number one electronic artist. He does have a few songs from videogames: tetris, FFIX, DDR (Paranoia), and a few others. Here is a link to his website where you can view and download for free his songs if you are interested = www.Sanxion7.com - THE SANXION7 PROJECT

DJ Sharpnel is more than just one person and most of their songs are just remixed songs from anime but they are very good and I'm not that into anime songs. Their songs are a bit harder to find since they are based in Japan but youtube does have a nice amount of his songs. They do also have a nice amount of songs based of English sources such as Samurai Jack in the song "Samurai Hardbeat". Here is a link to a web-page that has the sources for their songs, that way if you liked the original you could see how they did with their version.

I would also recommend DJ Tiesto, Aphrodite, and DJ Irene as some good artists as well.

    Now for the cd section:

    Best of House Volume 1
Best of Trance Volume 3 - one of my favourite electronic cds of all time, a classic to me.
Europop by Eiffel 65 - this to me is another classic electronic cd as every song is just amazing.
Parade of the Athletes by DJ Tiesto
    Photosynthesis by DJ Irene
    Techno Party Volume 1
    Techno Party Volume 2
This is Rave - this is a 3 cd collection and I find that the cd with "My House", "Feeling the Vibes", "Elke Bran" to be a classic because all the songs are simply amazing.
    This is Rave 6.0
    Trance Party Volume 6
    Overdrive by Aphrodite

There is nothing wrong with liking eurobeat. Also, David Rodgers seemed strikingly familiar to me and I know why; some of his songs are in my favourite game of all time - Para Para Paradise/Para Para Dancing!!!! The Dave Rodgers songs that appear in Para Para are: Kingdom of Rock (second favourite Para Para song), Ale' Japan, and 100 and all them are damn awesome. Now I must listen to more of his songs.

    Peace, mortals.

    Main series FFs Beaten - FF: 4x, FFII: 3x, FFIII: 3x, FFIV: 3x, FFV: 3x, FFVI: 4x, FFVII: 5x, FFVIII: 5x, FFIX: 3x, FFX: 4x, FFXII: 3x, FFXIII: 2x, FFXV: 2x

Techno is definitely not my favorite of the electro type genres. I'm more into trance or drum and bass.

Darude - Sandstorm still stands as the best techno song of all time.
