Awesome? The Tibetan monk setting himself on fire is awesome?
Anyway, I liked Rage more when I was younger. I thought was so supercool writing lines like, 'I know my enemy, they're the teachers who taught me to fight me! on my fourth year geography folder.
I first heard them during Princess Diana's funeral. I was seven years old, and the nation had been asked to partake in a minute's silence. Everyone was doing it. My mother thought that this was pish, that the princess wouldn't have wanted such noise, and that we should act more how my mum perceived the princess would have liked. Long story short, myself, my 5 year old brother, my mother and a kid from next door spent the minute's silence bouncing on the sofabed to '**** YOU, I WON'T DO WHAT YOU TELL ME.'
De la Rocha always seemed a bit immature and idealistic to me though. Then again, most socialist/Communist/whatever he is this week do.
