    Protest the Hero!

Has anyone else heard this band?

They started out as a political punk band, but are now a Mathcore band with many traces of various forms of Metal.
They are quite hard to classify.

The have two EPs, "The Search for Truth" and "A Calculated Use for Sound" and two AMAZING full lengths, "Kezia" and "Fortress."

Check 'em out if you haven't already.

Just saw them live with A Day to Remember, TDWP and Silverstein.
    It was an awesome show.

Bullet for my Valentine and The Human Abstract are far better, but I enjoy their stuff, too.

So you're saying two, crappy generic Metalcore bands are better than Protest the Hero?

That's like me waltzing into a Wu Tang Clan thread and saying, "I like these guys but I prefer to listen to In Flames and Dark Tranquility."

I've only really ever listened to one of their songs. It was called Blindfolds Aside or something. I liked it enough, but that was the only one I actually liked from them. Haven't heard any new albums or any other ones, so I don't know much. The group just seems like a somewhat heavy rock band to me.

TomStrife, don't get so worked up. I think some other groups and albums are better too, but at least Protest the Hero is pretty good.

    Obviously.
There are numerous bands better than Protest, but he walked in and said two bands a million times different than Protest are better.

    They are not hard rock.

    Here's their new song:

EDIT: While irrelevant, both bands he posted suck in comparison.
