Mad Season
This is a band with members from Pearl Jam. The Screaming Trees and Alice in Chains that got together in 94/95 to record one album released in 95 called Above.
I am a big fan of Layne Staley and got this album from a friend who didn't want it anymore. Its a great album and I really enjoy it.
If you haven't heard it. You should really check it out!

My favorite songs from the album are
River of Deceit
Lifeless Dead
Wake up
Long gone day
I don't know anything
All alone

Re: Mad Season
I too share a Layne Staley enjoyment. Actually, I kind of idolize him. His lyrics and voice, while sometimes dark, were a true inspiration to many artist
Yep, Mad Season was a great band. You just can't beat songs like River of Deceit and I'm Above. Artificial Red kicked a** too.

Re: Mad Season
Wow I forgot about those two songs. I'm going to have to give it a spin (click?) on my iPod well I do the dishes later!
Somewhere in the house we have the Mad Season live at the Moore VHS tape. Its a good show but the tape is messed up!
Even though Kurt Cobain Eddie Vedder and Chris Cornell all had their own unique voice I always liked Layne's the best. I think its because they were the first 90s band I heard from the seattle scene. Its just haunting and beautiful! ^^
