Who here uses Last FM. My username is Cillah.
I find it really useful as it says what music your listening to. top artists of the week and overall, top songs of the week and overall.

It gives similar artist suggestions by what your listening to and gives you your own radio station .

You can also add people and see how compatible your music taste it

You should check it out if you've never heard of it, or if you have post your username.

I use last.fm.

Most of my music is metal, but there's a lot of variety, I feel. I have quite a bit of depressive and suicidal black metal in my charts, as well as medolic death metal. I have a few more alternate artists in there too, such as Bjork and Iron & Wine.

I'm a child of creativity and thus, I thrive on different genres of music. Things I don't like as much would be hip-hop. I only have one hip-hop/rap artist in my charts. I don't really like country or pop that much, either, however, I like most other things.

Haha tell me about it A couple of weeks ago, I came across the profile of someone who was listening to nothing but, and I am dead serious, Shakira. Shakira was of course number one on her overall chart and everything else was Shakira feat. someone.

But it is nice to keep track of all the songs I play.

I used it for all of one week. I didn't really find it all that useful. For instance, when listening to Dir en grey or D'espairsRay it'd give me crappy Jrock suggestions like Alice Nine or GazettE. Or when listening to Bill Evans it'd give me John Coltrane as a suggestion (I don't like Coltrane's style of jazz, way too noisy and clashy). So I uninstalled it <.<

I just joined cos everyone else was doing it. It's been so long since I actually listened to my own ripped CDs through a media player though. ><

I haven't gone much with it yet, just listened to a few songs the other day and added a few artist to my library. So far I like it, now I won't have to use YouTube as much for music anymore.
