The biggest gig I have ever been to is Iron Maiden in Twickenham on July 5th 2008, as part of their 'Somewhere Back In Time' World Tour. It was huge because it was their only UK date for that entire year. The whole thing was absolutely mind-blowing. They played all the classics from their 80s albums (their best IMO). It was the greatest musical experience of my life.
Two personal ones were getting to see The Misfits and Dir En Grey, which are my two favourite bands ever. Misfits was at Norwich Waterfront, which is a pretty tiny place in comparison to a lot of places, and The Misfits filled the place to the point of overflow. I also got to meet Jerry Only after the gig, which was awesome! Dir En Grey was at the Norwich UEA, which was bigger, but the place was also jam packed (even though most people were there to see Bring Me The Horizon). I never thought I would see Dir En Grey that close to where I live, and it was amazing to see them. They sounded just like they do on the recordings. I also got to meet and take photos with Die (the guitarist), so that just topped off an amazing night.
I've been to see so many bands, but those three gig stand out in my mind, and I will never forget them.
