Coldplay is an amazing band. Maybe the best British band of the decade (sorry Pablo Honey). They aren't original, but they can write great melodies.

I don't know how I feel about Viva la Vida, though.

I like Coldplay. I mean, sure, some of the songs are too slow for my tastes, but I do like them. I own Parachutes and X&Y, thanks to my mothers' extensive musical collection.
I like Don't Panic, Fix You (aye, cliche of moi, who cares?), White Shadows and Square One best, probably. I don't love them, but I do like them. They have a place in my CD collection anyway, so that's saying something.

I like some of their songs, but find them a little overrated.

I do like Shiver, Viva La Vida, and quite a few others, but I'm not a hardcore fan.

How about no? Actually, I'm a moderater here and I don't appreciate people making useless posts in my forums. That's why posts like yours get reported. There's a different between you and Talullah - Talullah posted her full opinion and made a contribution. You posted a pointless opinion which contributed nothing to the thread. Now if you reply to this post with something irrelevent, I will warn you.

If you have a post which contributes to the thread about COLDPLAY, go ahead and post.

EDIT: Opinions on the track "WHAT IF?" I'm not sure what I think of it. In a way, I like it... but I dislike it at the same time.

i love Coldplay very much (i stated it in the 1st post). i have some albums of them, can't remember which one. ;P My fave song is Clocks. and i like In My Place, 'Till Kingdom Come, A Message, White Shadows and many others. =)

I don't follow their albums, but there was this one I did like. I don't remember the names of any of the songs or the name of the album, so I could never find it. I just remember the cover had a little rainbow square or rectangle in the center of it. The songs on that one were pretty goo. Kind of slow and low, but not bad. It's not the type of thing I could listen to all day, but hearing one every now and then is a nice thing.

Ah Bleachie I think the album you'd be referring to there would be Parachutes. Highly recommended

Personally I like A Rush of Blood to the Head best, perhaps the entire album on that score. I'm also a big fan of the majority of X & Y, in particular Twisted Logic. That song never fails to cheer me up.

That would be X & Y. FFGuru seems to have confused himself. That is my favorite album by them. Although I am starting to accept the brilliance of Viva la Vida.

Viva is a good album but it seems very understated and dare I say it rushed?
