A lot of people criticize the game mechanics for their losses. I do agree it messes up a strategy when the other person scores a critical hit, and while I hate it being used against me, it really helps the user so I can deal with it.

Continuing with the whole Slender theme, I tried playing it again today. I could only get one page. I started out going the same way I always go, because it is normal, safe (ha!!). But either the game randomizes the landmarks along with the pages locations or I took a wrong turn somewhere. Instead of going to the scary bathroom, I found the creepy rocks. After I picked up the page, I scared myself out of playing anymore.

I've been unable to post anything the past four or five days, and seeing as I'm going away again for a couple of days I figured I should post something here to clear away the cobwebs.

On Thursday I'm going on a trip with my girlfriend and her parents (yay..) to Whitanga, pronounced "Fiti- anga" with less emphasis on the first 'a'. The two of us were going to go originally but her parents were always planning on going there too, so we agreed ...

After quite a losing streak, I started winning again. Heatran did an excellent job, and so did Marowak for wrapping up. That's right. Marowak finished what Heatran started. So awesome.

The big news of the day was that someone drove their car into an electric pole and caused a blackout in the area for four hours. I don't like blackouts in the winter. Mainly because of the wood stove. When the power goes out, there is no way for the heat the stove creates to circulate throughout the house.
