I'm available to help people in latin. Chemistry, U.S government, math, countless web-related content.

suggestion: can we make this a whole new forum. surely if you people have a forum to waste for goodbyes then you can make a homework thread called Bevelle or those weird names u give each one. and split the forum into main categories so we don't get the confusion we have here.

Need help on a few biology questions. This pertaining to Botany/Photosynthesis.

    - What is the role of other pigments (accessory pigments) in Photosynthesis. (Damnit, I almost wrote Photoshop there ...)

    - Photosynthesis requires the green pigment chlorophyll. Explain how a Japanese Maple Tree, only having red leaves, can carry on Photosyntehsis.

    - Why are you able to see colors of light reflected from pigments/ This question requires that you include something about the function of teh eye.

Okay... I guess someone who's bored can help me. There's this German oral exam that must be done in couples. There are 10 subjects, and the teacher will hand over (only) 1 to you which you have to ask 10 questions about it to your partner.
My partner and I split the subjects up, so I have to prepare 5 subjects with 10 questions each.

    I got:
    - Clothing (Kleidung) <-done
    - The bathroom (Das Badezimmer)
    - The supermarket (Der Supermarkt)
    - Media (Medien) [like television, radio, books, etc]
    - Law and authority (Gesetz und Gewalt)

So far I've finished Clothing completely.

If someone has some good ideas, post the questions in English, German, or both. Dutch is also good but I doubt there are many dutchies in here

    Some examples (Clothing):
-What are you wearing when you're sporting?
-What colours do you like for a dress?
    -What's your style?
-What can you wear in the summer?

    (Media)
-What kind of movies do you like?
-Which channels do you often watch? Why?
-What kind of books do you prefer? Do you also have a favorite writer?

Answers are definately for us, so no answers.

Uhhh... Does anyone know any sites that give you FULL, or near full, stories of any Greek mythological character? I need two different stories, so if anyone knows where to get them, it would be greatly appreciated.

Anything up through Calculus, I got covered. I'll proof writings as well, if anyone wants it. Just PM them to me. Keep them a reasonable length, though. No more than one page at a time, please.

Q: Dose anyone know what will happen to the Hubble Space Telescope when it gose out of commision?

Q: What are they going to replace it with for example a visual spectrum lense or are they going to go down the line of x-rays and the likes, since were limited to how far out we can see?

    Thanks for your time.

I don't believe anyone really knows what will happen when Hubble goes out of commission. This will still be a good while from now, prolly several years, since it will only go out of commission when ordinary wear and tear in space break it down. I wouldn't be surprised if they shot it through a planet's atmosphere to let it burn up after they'd gotten all the data necessary.

And as for it's replacement, even if Hubble did finally burn out, there are actually still plenty of instruments on earth to toy around with. The reason telescopes are shot into space is to avoid atmospheric blurring, but with advanced computer compensation, a lot of it is actually negated. And with tools like the VLA and VLBA, and the two Keck telescopes using interferometry, there's plenty of stuff to mess around with right here on earth without bothering to send Hubble Jr. up there.

hmmm, for homework, I could really use someone to help me with a few subjects.

For Anatomy, if anyone has any good websites that I could use to study for the body systems (i.e. Skeletal system ATM) I would greatly appreciate that.

I'll prolly pop back in here once Pre-Calc/Trig starts getting difficult. Just curious, so far we are doing a review unit BTW, but how much geometry is involved? I got good grades in Algebra 2 last year, but did bad in geometry 2 years ago.

And one last thing, could teach me some vector stuff for Physics? I'm not getting it, and I had a sub today in that class, so Im kinda lost.

    IM: Helix2k4
    Email: Helix2k4@aol.com

    thanks, I appreciate it.

EDIT----I could use some help on finding a website/s with some cool graphing images for Trig, since I have to do a project on something like it. I have a TI-84+ Silver Edition Calc, so if anyone could help me with it, send me an IM or E-mail....

    Do? No. The thread isn't for doing someone else's homework, though sometimes that certainly would seem like a nice option, eh? We can try to help, but you'll have to do the work on your own. ^_^;;

    3-phase systems (Engineering)

I need help with 3-phase systems. Can someone explain to me the purpose of the load star point? Why does it has to be connected when setting the line currents? And why should it be disconnected when taking readings of the power, voltage and current? Thanks for your help.

That's hard to troubleshoot without actually having it in-hand. I'd recommend searching on google for repair issues, or even a forum dedicated to TI products.
