A: What class is he? Um he is a human and a thief/fighter but he also has the Flair abilities which becomes Elan when he trances. Idk what you're looking for though because he they never really assign a class to him. Zidane is a thief, Vivi a mage, Freya a Dragoon, Eiko/Garnet are white mages/summoners, Quina is a blue mage, but Steiner and Amarant don't really get assigned a "class" persay. So I'd say a thief bc he is like Zidane in a lot of ways. Hope that's what you're looking for.

I did not know that, may I ask where you got this info because of all the years I've been playing FFIX (because it's my favorite) I never knew the class of Amarant and was iffy on where to place Steiner.

Q: The character of Freya marks a first for playable characters in the FF series. What is special about her?

Steiner is the Fighter Class as well as Knight and Sorcerer/Mystic Knight due to the Element Swords. Zidane is a Thief obviously but his Genome race adds more to him. Garnet is Summoner/White Mage and Eiko is White Mage/Summoner. Freya is Dragon Knight which is Dragoon with added magic abilities. Vivi obviously Black Mage, Quina is the Blu Mage, Amarant is Monk/Ninja/Assassin, Throw and the Flair abilities which have Chakra, and a few other abilities.
