I will think what I want of what you think, and the words you chose to use. La la la. (not that I've never used a poor choice of words in the past) Anyways...

I haven't been tuning in to Toonami lately. Actually, I've been tuning into it as regularly as I've been coming to these forums the past several months or so. I still don't care for their line up. I think they could do much better. SD Gundam? I hate that animation. The arms are measured so precisely, its like too perfect. There's no abnormalitys to the dimensions, or whatever. Plus, the characters are... typical of new anime, as of late. Pisses me off. But whatever. And then, there's Dragon Ball Z, in its cheesy dubbing and all. "I got a french accent, even though in space, there is no france..." Not that it makes sense that all the characters would speak the same language, anyway. Its JUST A CARTOON, DAMMIT!! ...anyways, then we have, what, the new Transformers, right? *shakes head* What is up with those kids? Why is it the anime code, or something, that requires that just about every show have some stupid teenage/pre-teenage characters, most of which look and sound like girls, when they are boys? It might not be as bad with out the kids, but then again... Hot Rod. They got him all wrong. The same as with just about every other character. Hot Rod's supposed to be a punk, kind of. He comes off, to me, more as a whiny kid. Then, we finish off with Dragon Ball, which I decided I like a lot better than DBZ. However, I watch very little TV these days, anyway. Except Adult Swim. They need to bring back Gundam Wing. And 8th MS Squad, or whatever it was called. Those shows rocked. Bring those back, and also finally air DBGT. Then you'd have a program again. Anyways...

just a quick question...y would a character announce his or her move before doing it, wouldnt it tell the opponent that they were gonna do the move?? or is it that u need to say something for the move to work, that would be really corny, because if someone was a mute, they wouldn'y be able to do anymoves..lol

I don't really know why but if FF games, when you use a move, it says on the screen. I always thought that the characters announced their moves on the games since they are magic and spells. But, that was before FFX, in their, when you cast Ultima with Lulu, she sometimes says something so.....

I really have no idea why they say the move. But, when Trunk does his Burning Attack, he doesn't say anything. I don't think you have to say anything because Cell didn't say anything when he did his Kamehameha on Gohan in the Cell Games.

Damn..rwisted shit that Holland got DBGT earlier than you guys...anyways I missed most of the episodes, which sucks pretty much. So well..I have never seen hell 16, and shit like that. I saw most of the battles though with the evil Shenlons..Ii Shenlon has been defeated and stuff like that....a bir of a corny way for him to die though..hehe.

Today will be the final episode of DBGT, so yeah I definately have to watch that one, I'm very interested...it better be good..lol.

Btw SSJ4, I haven't ever gotten then Neko Majin files from you..all I got was Neko Majin Z....so well...I request Neko Majin files now ^^...as well as the Neko Majin Z2 files..

I dont really know why they say their moves before they do them. I mean, when they do that, it let's the enemy know what they are going to do, so they get ready to block or dodge it.

They shouldn't say the moves anymore, so yeah. Well, I dunno. I just don't see the point of all those battle cries and shouting your moves.

Wow, I didn't expect all this activity. I'm pleasantly surprised to see we're nice and active again, though since I didn't expect to post here so soon, I don't have that new GT summary ready >_<. I do have a lot to say, though, so I guess I'll get started.

For one, I take it from your post, Kairi, that you want to join the club, and if that's the case, then welcome! It's always nice to have new members here ^_^. Though with what you said in your post (with regards to your name) I have to make a little correction:

When forming your name, you were talking about characters in Hiragana, though in Japanese, you wouldn't be using that alphabet to write your name. Japanese names are usually written with Kanji, while non-Japanese names (such as yours) are written in Katakana, the alphabet for writing foreign words.

Now, the two alphabets (Hiragana and Katakana, that is) have similar pronunciations, though the characters that represent those pronunciations are totally different. I'd try showing you what I meant, but as I can't type Japanese characters on my computer, I can't. For example, the Katakana symbol of the "letter" shi in Hiragana would look nothing like the "letter" for shi in the Hiragana alphabet.

Also, since there really isn't the long "a" sound in the Hiragana or Katakana alphabets (as there is in your name, Katelyn), we'd have to write it something like the following:

Ki-to-re-no (phonetically pronounced Kee-toh-REH-noh). I'm no expert when it comes to writing names in Japanese, though, so I could be wrong with the exact letters I used (for example, maybe the letter ka, pronounced "kah," would be used instead of ki, but as I was trying to get the long "a" sound in there, I wrote it like that).

Now, for another example, I'll try my name out. My name is Justin, for those who didn't know. I'd start with ja, then I guess something like so. To my knowledge, there isn't really a way in that alphabet to get the "t" sound, so I'd probably go with the symbol de and end it with the symbol for "u." (pronounced like when you say “oops”)

Putting it all together, we'd get Ja-so-de-nu (Phonetically, ja-soh-deh-new). Again, I'm not sure exactly which characters would be used, that's just me making an educated guess. As I said, I'm not really an expert on translating people's names, so...yeah. I had a friend who was Japanese (he was born there, so he knew the language--both written and spoken--very well), but he moved back a few years ago. He did write my name out for me on a piece of paper once, though I don't know where it is (I could have checked the characters to see if I was right or not, but I don't really know where I put it >_<).

Anyway, moving on, to address the most recent topic of people screaming their moves. Here's my take on that:

Now, I'm no martial arts buff, but I'd say it probably has to do with intimidating your opponent. In Karate (as well as other forms of martial arts), you usually shout Kii-ahh (yes, I wrote that phonetically, as I don't know how to actually write it -_-) to intimidate your opponent. Now, if you're attacking a person, shouting at them will probably throw them off a bit. I wouldn't be surprised if that factored into why they screamed their moves out before using them.

Also, I wouldn't be surprised if it was somewhat along the lines of what Usagy was saying about "letting your enemy know the move you're going to kill/defeat them with." We all know that characters in the DBZ universe all have some egos (even Goku, who exhibits his in a different way than others), and probably want to let their opponents what's going to hit them. For example, in the Piccolo Daimaoh saga currently running on CN, we see Piccolo's face of shock when he sees Goku stand to do the Kamehameha wave, as he thinks he's going to do the Mufaba Wave--the attack that defeated him.

Because of him knowing (or thinking he knew) that the same attack was coming at him, he was frozen with fear, which again goes back to what I said before about trying to make your opponent lose his concentration. Again, another example is when Goku and Tien originally fought in their first Tenkaichi Budokai in DragonBall against each other. When Goku saw Tien use the Dodon ray on him for the first time, he was in shock, as it was the same move Tao Pi Pi had used against him.

Again, I'm no expert on martial arts (though from what I know, I believe you, Usagy, practice some form of it, so maybe you could be of farther assistance in this field), but those are just some of my hypotheses as to why they'd be calling out their moves.

Lastly, before I go (because I'm a little short on time), I just figured I'd mention that I have heard everyone's request so far about Neko Majin Z and Neko Majin Z 2. It may take me a few days to get them sent, but rest assured, I haven't forgotten (...yet...let's hope I don't ^^)

another question....what about their moves? for example the kamehameha...and the dodon ray...they are both attacks where you release chi or ki from the body, yet how can one be stronger?? it would all depend on the person, so if thats that whats up with color difference and the names of the blasts...if i could release energy from my body, i could make it come out like the kamehameha or the dodon ray....that makes it stupid

Indeed with martial arts (I practise ninjitsu) you shout a so-called ki-ai (just like you I don't know how you're supposed to spell it). This burst is used for two reasons. Reason one is that it intimidtaes your opponent. If you got a powerful ki-ai it will show great confidence in yourself. If somebody would give a lowsy ki-ai then not a single person would feel intimidated by the shout.
The second advantage is that it increaes the person's power at that moment. Since you breath out when you scream you will increase your power. Try it out yourself; kicks with your breath hold inside your body are less powerful then kicks when you breath out (especially when they are combined with a ki-ai).

When comparing this with the DB saga it indeed shows that the last HA of the Kamehameha is a lot longer than the former parts of the attack. Apparently Goku increases the attack by screaming the name of the attack. I'm just guessing this, but it sounds reasonable to me.

About your question Animaniac...for some attacks there will be a longer power-up needed then for others. For an example a kamehameha is a lot faster than a spirit bomb.

I'm looking forward to receiving the Neko comics ^^

Also on a little note..I have seen the last DBGT episode now..yay..haha. Besides that I started downloading more DB again lately..so I'm at episode 47 now..haven't really progressed a lot I guess..hehe.

Well, there you go; some nice insight into the world of martial arts brought to you by Usagy ^_^

Anyway, I see we've actually dropped slightly in our activity since last time, but we'll keep on truckin' anyway.

First off, even though I said this last time I still haven't forgot about sending Neko Majin Z out to people. I just finished sending Usagy the original Neko Majin as per his request, and I'm ready to send out Neko Majin Z 2 to anyone who requested it. The problem is, I didn't get everyone's e-mail. I know Tom, Usagy, and Kana wanted it, but I only have Usagy's e-mail address (and Tom, don't try getting out of it by saying I can send it to you on AIM; I tried with Kana and, as he can testify to, it isn't that easy to read that way^^). So, that being said, anyone who wants it, just post their e-mail address and I can get going with sending them already^_^.

In other news, DragonBall GT made it's television debut in the US today!. While I actually haven't watched it yet (I taped it, as I do with about 85% of the anime I watch on TV), I will be watching it tomorrow. Just thought I'd point out to everyone that (if you haven't seen the advertisements on CN or get the DBZ newsletter) it's indeed on.

In celebration of that...I'm finally going do Part VII of my GT summary which will take us up to the end of GT. Sure, Usagy's seen it all now (and if I'm not mistaken, he was one of the people who asked me to summarize the series about a year ago), but since there are still probably people who don't know the whole story, you can find out the ending here today ^_^.

Before that, though, I figured I'd translate a portion of Tom's post into regular English so you all can understand his message:

Now, finally, what everyone's been waiting a year or so for me to finish, the last part of my GT summary: Part VII!

When we last left off (yes, over a year ago when I was originally writing these >_<) we had seen Goku approaching the last of the DarkStar Dragons, Li Shenron.

Anyway, Goku tries in vain for a little while to defeat him, but he can't. All of a sudden, he sees Vegeta coming and wonders what he's up to. All of a sudden, he sees Bulma firing a ray at him (Vegeta, that is), and, víola; (spelling? ) Super Saiyan 4 Vegeta is born, or, at least Vegeta in his Golden Oozaru form. After a short temper tantrum, everyone thinks Vegeta's a rampaging ape like Goku, but we all know Vegeta; it was all a trick; he says something to the effect of "What, did you think the Prince of Saiyans couldn't maintain his control?." He then proceeds to turn SSJ4. We get a little comic relief here when we see Bulma and Chi Chi argue over which Saiyan looks cooler. Of course, Mr. Satan is there who says "I'm the coolest." He then gets smacked in the face by the two ^_^ (yeah, that wasn't really important, but it just stuck out in my head as funny )

So, moving on, Even with both powered up and SSJ4, they realize that alone they won't be able to defeat Li Shenron. Gohan, Goten and Trunks convince the two of them to try the fusion dance, but not before Li Shenron blows up Bulma's Brute Ray machine (he didn't want any other Saiyans turning Super Saiyan 4 ^^). Of course, we all know the effect of a fusion dance fusion makes the person arrogant, and, much like Gotenks' (and even Vegito's) fight with Buu, they're clearly dominating, but as a result of the immense power required to hold two SSJ4's together, combined with SSJ4 Gogeta showing off his skills a little too much, the most powerful fighter in the galaxy quickly de-fuses, but not before knocking all the DarkStar balls out of him.

For the sake of time now, I'll do some condensing here. We see 4 Star Shenron make a reappearance, as well as some more attempts to defeat Ii Shenron, but of course we get nowhere until Goku makes his final attempt. Much like how he defeated Kid Buu (but on a larger scale), Goku finally pleads with everyone he's met in his adventures around the galaxy to give him their energy for one ultimate Spirit Bomb. Of course, Li Shenron is defeated, and once the smoke clears, Goku's lying on the floor motionless. Pan runs over to him, but just then, good old (regular) Shenron appears!

He (Shenron, that is) says that the DragonBalls have basically returned to normal, but that no more wishes will be made on them for 100 years. Goku, being the nice guy that he is, pursuades Shenron to grant one final wish to him; that Earth be restored to how it was prior to the DarkStar Shenrons destroying it, but the wish will cost Goku--big time. The price is his life, and as he hops onto Shenron's back and waves good bye to everyone. At first, no body knows what Goku's doing, and they ask him when if he'll be coming back, to which he says "yes." Vegeta says he wants to finish the fight they started and never finished all those years ago, but then Goku whispers to him that he actually won't be coming back, and Bulma catches wind of this, too. Right after Chi Chi (who doesn't know what Goku's about to do) says that her and the boys will prepare a huge feast upon his return, Goku asks to visit all his other friends one last time, and Shenlon agrees.


Now the scene that follows is probably one of my favorites in the entire DragonBall saga (right up there with Piccolo's good bye speach to Gohan earlier on in GT). As this is really one of the last scenes in GT, I advise anyone who doesn't want this ruined skip the following (one) paragraph...

First Goku flies over to Tien and Choutzu, who are training by the waterfall. He says good bye to Yamcha, who's fixing his car in the desert where the two first met all those years ago, and then he flies to Kame House. After saying good bye to Master Roshi, he and Krillin have one last spar, and, after Krillin's managed to get one good shot in on him, he leaves there, too. Goku then flies by Hell to tell Piccolo what he's doing. He also says how he's glad they teamed up and became good friends. After shaking hands, Goku leaves and "falls asleep" on Shenron's back. One by one, all the DragonBalls absorb into him, with the Four Star ball making one last circle around his head before being the last one to sink in. Shenron flies into the sky and the picture goes white...

EVERYONE WHO SKIPPED THAT PARAGRAPH CAN PICK IT UP HERE. (Sorry for the caps; I just wanted to get everyone's attention -_-'). We're now shown a scene 100 years later, and we're at a Tenkaichi Budokai. We see Goku Jr. and Vegta Jr. fighting--and even go Super Saiyan! Pan, who's watching her grandson battle looks at the bottom row in the stadium only to see Goku sitting watching the battle! She goes over to say hello to her grandfather, but he fades away before she gets the chance to. In the final scene of DragonBall GT (don't read if you don't want it ruined!), we see Goku as a young adult leaving the arena with a big smile, happy with what he's seen.

And on a last note, as the credits are scrolling, we're entreated to scenes spanning all three series. I think the appropriate phrase to end this summary would be the title of the last episode: Good bye Goku! Until the day we meet again!

And there you have it! That last summary was of episodes 57-64 if anyone wanted to know, and I hope everyone enjoyed my final GT summary, even if it did take me a year to get to it ^^. Oh, and because I know you're all wondering how long this post is, it's nice and on par with my original posts with summaries in them. This one specifically was nice and plump; just under the 1,500 word mark ^^

Anyways, I saw the first "episode" of GT today. I got in like a few minutes late, so I think I missed something, because they were immediately to the scene where Goku and Uub leave the hyperbolic time chamber (however that's spelled) and Peilof(ditto)wishes Goku was a young child again. Then, they cut to a much later episode, and then to a much earlier episode (like one where they decide to go looking for the dragon balls.) And the show ended with a scene from the episode that was the second one I saw a scene shown from. Apparently, they decided to summarize the first 15 episodes in like 23 minutes, or however long the show airs, minus the commercials. It was confusing. Maybe they explained what they were doing at the very beginning, but they didn't exactly do it in numerical order, I don't think. Oh well. J will watch it tomorrow, and explain everything to me. Or something. I have very high expectations. I DEMAND to be SERVICED! Anyways...

Hmm... Emperor Pilaf (that's probably closer to the actual spelling than up there) Shou and that one chick were OLD. Like, WOW. They had the mole spots, and everything. I wonder what Master Roshi looks like (is he even in this? Hmm...) The funny thing is that Bulma didn't look too old when I saw her. She never ages, does she? Heh. Chi Chi does, for some reason, but not her. Although she looked old in the Trunks TV Special thing, and I remember seeing a picture of her from GT where she looked old... maybe it was just the angle, or something.

I got a question... who did the show if Akira Toriyama didn't do it? The art looks like his, anyway... Whatever. I was looking forward to seeing this more than I'd been looking forward to seeing anything else that premiered this year, I think. Most likely. That I can remember. Even more than Survivor. (SURVIVOR?!! YOU WATCH THAT SHIT?!!) Yes, I do... anyways...

...so how about GT? I saw that one episode in whatever language it was in that wasn't English (it was on an international channel. It might even be called "The International Channel." I don't remember, though.) I was entertained, anyway, even though I couldn't understand what was going on (there wasn't even any subtitles) but I could tell it was cool. It looked like the stuff he did in Chrono Trigger, even though, apparently, he had nothing to do with GT (or so I was told by someone.) If that is a lie, that'd be cool to know. It seems weird that he'd have nothing to do with it, however. Anyways...

I dunno. I think it looks cooler than DBZ, mostly because it looks to be not as straight forward and linear as DBZ was. Doesn't look like things will necessarily be decided by out-right power (until the end, maybe.) Plot twists, and stuff, that don't involve "Oh, I'm going to go to another power level that no one even EXPECTED, EVER, in a MILLION years! Ha ha ha!" But like them having to deal with weird creatures and stuff... I guess there was some of that in the older episodes, though. There was definitely some of that in Dragon Ball... I think...

Speaking of Dragon Ball, I was watched it once, for a change, and Goku was about to fight Chi Chi, who was under anonyminity (sp) for some reason, and she was angry at Goku. Did that have something to do with Goku's promise to marry her, and he like forgot about it, or something? (I didn't see the next episode, of course; forgot.) Anyways...

Anyway, shouting the name of the attack doesn't increase the power, to increase the power, it has to do with the amount of chakra that you release. (chakra = ki = energy... same thing) i call it chakra, to be easier on myself. and because it sounds cooler. ^_^

Hmm... I was waiting for someone else to reply here again, as I'd just replied, and I didn't feel like I had any real material at the time, besides to reply to Kana Mitsu, and I don't like making posts that are as short as like one paragraph or so, usually... so... SINCE no one else is going to reply, I guess it falls upon ME, the one who is RARELY ever here, to revive it again. Hmph. Anyways...

Kana: I am stupid sometimes. Heh. That pretty much is my only excuse. That, and I'm fat (one that my friends made up. "Why are you so such and such?" "Because he's fat." Anyways...

I have a question about this new Goku; is as strong as adult Goku was, or can he just go Super Saiyan? I had come to the assumption that he could only do that as adult Goku, or something, but I was wrong, obviously. Shouldn't always just assume things. Its a bad habit. Anyways, I also noted on the one two weeks ago that Pan seemed to be about ready to call someone a "jack-ass" when they cut to another scene. Makes me wonder if they decided not to be such pussies with GT and actually have swearing on the uncut versions, although later on, Trunks was saying the stupid curses again; "Darnet!" or something, I think. (Why were they allowed to have swearing in the uncut versions of Gundam Wing on on the Midnight Run, but not on Dragon Ball Z? I distinctly remember watching an episode, and Duo, I think, saying "Damn!" after a battle, out of fatigue, or something.) Anyways....

Be revived, club, because I command you... or something... something flashy like that, I'm sure. Anyways...

Little Goku in DBGT is really dumb. He seems soooo weak. Sure, he can turn SSJ and stuff but he's gay. I think in one of my other posts I've said somthing about him catching a missle and sliding back a few feet. If that was in DBZ, he could have just stood there and nothing would have happened....

Hey, don't give up so easily. I was going to post today--really, I was. I even fought off posting in my journal because I said, "Tom has reminded me that I need to post, and post I will." So there...I came in with the full intention of posting here

Anyway, I'll get to your question in a minute, but first, a few public service announcements...

I hope everyone's been remembering that new DragonBall episodes have been showing (Mon-Thur at 6:30 p.m.) EST. Actually, I just checked CN's online schedule, and I was correct in realizing that this week DragonBall's ending! No, it's not going off the air, but the series itself if finally reaching an end. After this week, they're starting back with the first episode of the last season again, right before we meet King Piccolo. Just thought I'd let everyone know that if they've missed DragonBall's new episodes, they're making at least another run. Personally, I'm hoping that once they run through it again they go back to the beginning (so we can see some Pilaf action, and plus they haven't shown it in quite some time).

Also, in other news, if anyone is interested, I was in my local Target on Friday, and happened across the strategy guide of DBZ: Taiketsu (the GBA fighting game, which is the first DBZ game ever to feature Brolly in it ). I haven't bought the game, but looking through the guide, I realized that it came with a DVD. On it, there's some stuff about FUNi, the game, etc. (I don't really remember), but best of all, it contains episode 41 of DragonBall GT!

At first, I thought to myself "wow, 41? That's random." Then I remembered that that episode is the Tenkaichi Budokai tournament, and they probably figured it would be appropriate, seeing as Taiketsu is a fighting game. Just thought I'd let everyone know that they could get some extra GT viewing in if they happen across the strategy guide ^^

Now, as for your question, I don't think Goku's as strong as a kid in GT as a full adult. For one, he did lose the some of his abilities, so he's at a disadvantage there. For one, he can't use instant transmission. Also, his body, because it's smaller, can't regulate energy as efficiently as his adult form. That's why you'll see (later on in the series) that when he transforms into SSJ3 (as a child), it consumes too much energy, and he quickly reverts back. Apparently, he still has enough energy to turn regular SSJ, and don't even ask me why he transforms into adult form when going SSJ4 -_-'. It's always bothered me that when turning into a kid, he lost some abilities, yet kept others (the Instant Transmission thing, for example). Oh well, I guess it's just a plot-hole, type thing...or something

Hmm...what else. Well, since we're in need of a new discussion question, here we go. I know this one's been done already, but it's been a while, and no body else probably remembers their answers anyway (I know I sure don't remember what people said when I first asked this):

Since we (I, really) were just talking about plot-holes, discuss some of your favorite plot-holes that exist within the DB/Z/GT universe.

Also, to add some more, try to add in (when applicable) your own conclusions you think can be drawn about the plot-hole...that may sound odd, but here's an example:

Say I bring up the fact that Goten and Trunks didn't have a tail at birth, yet Gohan did. Ignoring the fact that this matter's already been addressed by Toriyama himself (since this is just an example), I may want to add to my post "well, even though this is a plot-hole that's never explained in the series, it may be that Chi Chi and Bulma simply had their sons' tails cut off at birth." See what I'm saying now? If you can, try to explain your own theories about the plot-hole you pick.

Oh, and if anyone's really interested, CN's premiering some new anime shows within the next seven months (probably), but I already am planning on posting it in my journal, so for anyone interested, check out the post I'll have up there in about an hour (yes, I realize that was kind of a shameless plug, but figured I'd manage to work in the fact that after about two years of indecisiveness, I've finally started one here ^^). Plotholes huh...well if the tails of Trunks and Goten were indeed cut off at birth then why didn't they grew back later?
The tail has grown back with Goku as well as with Gohan.

Yet I have another question..somewhere in DBGT I saw SSJ4 Goku...it was Child Goku that transformed to this state...but then again..the SSJ4 version looked like a normal adult Goku...how can this be?

One of my favorite plot holes that I always remembered was the Garlic Jr. Saga. That one is pretty imfamous, is it not? For that Saga to take place, the movie with Garlic Jr. would have to have taken place, as well, but there's no space of time in which it could have taken place. It couldn't have taken place before DBZ, because at the beginning of DBZ, Krillin had never seen Gohan before (hadn't he?) During the time between Raditz coming to Earth and Vegeta coming to Earth, Goku was dead, and Gohan was being trained by Piccolo, yes? And There was no time in between The Freiza(sp) saga and Vegeta leaving Earth, and directly after the Freiza saga was when the Garlic Jr. Saga takes place. Well, maybe not directly after, but Goku was still in space when it took place, so the movie could not have taken place then, either. And the movie has to take place, too, because there are references to it, of course, during the Saga. Its confusing, isn't it? Yes, Bob, it is. Or something.

Meh...I haven't posted much of anywhere lately because I've been so pressed for time. I've wanted to post here since last week or something, but just haven't had the time to do so...until now ^^

Anyway, if anyone remembers, I said last time that DragonBall was going through its final episodes during the week of Thanksgiving (or so). Of course, I happened to miss the last episode so I have to wait another three months before seeing it, but oh, well ^_^

In other news, we don't really have much to talk about, but Anamaniac brought up a good question regarding the DarkStar DragonBalls. Here's my two cents:

Yes, you're correct in saying that if the DarkStar DragonBalls aren't returned to the planet the wish was made on within a year it will blow up. Making a wish in space, in my opinion, wouldn't make a difference. For example, if Emperor Pilaf had taken the balls from Earth into space and made the wish on a space ship, I'd still think the Earth would blow up if they weren't collected within a year. Why? Because it was the last planet it was on. Even if, since the first wish was made on them, they were always used in outer space, they must have originated on some planet, so whatever planet it was on last I'd think would blow up.

Of course, a way to refute my theory would be to say "but what if they were made on a Space Ship? Then it wouldn't originate from any planet." To that I say the following: that's not what happened Really, I don't know what would happen in that case, as it would be pure speculation.

Hmm...oh, for anyone wondering, DragonBall Z will be returning to CN soon! That's right, sometime in January (I believe it's the 6th, but I'm too lazy to confirm my suspicions ^^), DBZ will be on Mon.-Thurs. at 6:00 p.m. (EST), airing right before DragonBall. Of course, GT will still be on on Fridays meaning that all three DB series will be on CN starting in less than a month. Neat, huh? ^_^

Oh, and to answer your question Usagy (and thanks for the compliment on my summary ^^), I really don't know why Goku turns into an adult when he turns SSJ4. Actually, in the post right before yours, I said something to the effect of "don't even ask me why [that happens]." There's a slight chance they explained it in the series, but as I haven't watched it in (probably) about a year, I don't remember for sure. If I had to formulate a hypothesis, I'd say it had to do with the amount of energy required...

As we see when he turns SSJ3 as a kid, it requires way too much energy to maintain that form, and as a little kid, his body just can't hold it long enough for him to really do anything effectively. That being said, SSJ4 requires even more energy (obviously), so, in an attempt to regulate that energy, my guess his body would revert to full size. Maybe it has something to do with the fact that he was an enormous Golden Oozaru before the fact and his body just happened to revert to the way it should have been--after all, the only other SSJ4 characters (Vegeta and Gogeta) weren't kids, so we don't really know why Goku's body changed--we can only speculate.

I'm too lazy to come up with a discussion question, nor do I think anyone else feels like it. I'll just leave it open and hope someone comes up with something for us to talk about (or else I'll just have to do it next post >_<). In other news, anyone remember our RP we're supposed to have? I really don't even remember how much we've accomplished storyline-wise. Anyone who's been a member here long enough, (Usagy, Kana, Telegraph, etc.? Anyone?) feel free to refresh my memory.

Oh my gosh, I was roaming through the Magic Box and found something on a dragonball z game. Dragonball Z 2 V, apparently an upgrade from Budokai 2. Well now I wish I hadn't even gone there tonight. The worst thing I've seen in a while happened. -_- Just shoot me and end it now for I can't remove this from my mind.

Yeah unfortunately it is very true, there is an image of Gokutan fighting Dabura. I found it off Magic Box, Bandai announced that there will be several new fuses for this game. Why oh why, I know Toriyama likes Mr. Satan, but really. -_-

Yeah, I'm commenting about 3 weeks too late, but whatever

Anyway, I'm not totally against the idea, though I don't know what we're talking about height-wise, I for one was a fan of the Goku-Satan picture they showed during the Buu saga (when Goku was trying to decide who to use the earrings with). As long as I see the final product relatively similiar to that of the anime, I'll be happy. Also, I think it has the whole concept of imaginary fusions will be a double-edged sword; on one hands, it may give people a long awaited look at what a Krillin-Piccolo fusion or Yamcha-Tien fusion may look like, but unless they do this with the full supervision of Toriyama (I mean nothing short of character designs and names from Toiryama himself), (1)I can see fans quickly flaming the designs for the same reason people flame GT (lack of significant Toiryama-input) and (2)Fans may be disappointed by some images if they don't turn out like they had imagined they'd look.

Anyway, I'm looking forward to seeing more images...I'm sure some are out by now, but I'm too lazy to look and hope someone else will point them out if they see some

Well from what I read and assume, I don't think that there will be all the fusions you could want. I think it will be a small handful of fusions of certain characters. And from looking at the screenshot, I'd say that it is quite close to the one shown in the Buu Saga. Though I am also not to eager to look for more. It was bad enough seeing Mr Satan and Goku.

Well, hello there. Its been a while, isn't it?

Those fusions are fusions that Mr. Toriyama thought off at one point. I wonder why they didn't put the fusion between Goku-Piccolo and Krillin-Piccolo. Gokutan actually appeared in the series when Goku thought who was left for him to fuse.

Well, I think, that the SSJ4 thing of Goku being a child and then looking like an adult is that when Pilaf made the wish Goku only knew how to transform till SSJ3, Chibi Goku learned SSJ4 as Chibi Goku so its new, and when he transforms into SSJ4 he recovers his size and body. Pilaf's wish affected only what Goku knew at the moment, SSJ, SSJ2, SSJ3, and made him forget the Instant Movement Technique, but SSJ4 is a new one.

One of the many riddles of the DBZ series and is sometimes regarded as a plot-hole is the many timelines that DBZ has with future Trunks and all. I think that there are 3 timelines.

1) The present timeline - the one we all know of and its the time that the series is made of.

2) The Trunks timeline - the timeline that future Trunks comes

3) The Cell timeline - the timeline of the Cell that reached perfect form, in where he androids are destroyed by Trunks and then Cell kills Trunks. Then this Cell goes to the present timeline and the Cell saga begins.

Yeah a lot of us were, I was part of this thread, when it was a club or whatever. It is probably the only anime thread that is lasted so long. I guess because it is DBZ that it makes sense, though I would wish that it had been something else. I mean I like DBZ, mostly but I have grown tired of it. I barely even bothered with the new uncut episodes, I hate the intro. Stick with the "Rock the Dragon".

But I actually prefer Dragonball having seen most of it. And I really hated DBGT, I only watched it so I could say with proof that it was bad. Dragonball Z, well it was good for a while. But Gohan should have remained the main character after the Cell saga like Toriyama had wanted.

I own most of the DBZ movies, since I buy them as they come out. I still really do not know why I do either, since the movies are not that great.
