Yeah, sorry Danicles, but my 240HP Honda can take a Mustang. =\
Mustangs have uber torque, but not much speed. Thus is the American muscle car. They're also built rather poorly (IMO) and are a dime a dozen car with a high resale value because of their demand. They also have shitty gas mileage.
I almost bought an '05 Mustang, I opted for my Accord instead. I used to drive an '02 Mustang 6cyl with shitty gas mileage and 220HP that ran immensly slower than my Accord.

you just have to know how to tweak them. As with any car they are not very good "as is". yes you can buy these models an some are fast or whatever, but without the nessicary tweakage....any car can beat it. Just throw in some slick roads^^. I can make a mustang smash the asses of those without proper attire
Did I menton Honda parts are dime-a-dozen and you can "tweak" a Honda for a lot less money for still more performance?
If it's a Honda engine (Especially a VTEC) then it's cheap to tweak.

I don't know about that, Sean, I've gotten to race against '06 Hondas, and I leave them in the dust, even if they're automatic or sticks. I drive a 5-spd stick, and I've been driving sticks since I was 10. It's all a matter of who has better footwork and hand-eye coordination. And if I wanted better gas mileage, I would've gone for a Honda myself. But alas, I make good money and I want a racing car. Mustang parts are easy to find and are easy to fix.
But alas, we can never resolve this issue unless we can meet up and have a race, and I don't see that happening anytime soon, do you?
