Which version do you prefer PS3 or 360?

Honestly I dont know but from what everyone is saying the audio and video is compressed on the 360. No one knows for sure until release date so I guess we will find out soon enough. I have nothing to worry about though cause I have my Ps3.

thats because the game was developed primarily for the blu ray drive on a ps3, not a dvd running 360 so naturally the quality would most likely be slightly better (even if it isnt noticable).

That is so true. I just wish they would make all multi-platform games for Ps3 first and then the 360 because the quality is better on a Ps3.

I have a PS3 in my room hooked to a large television, soon to have a HDMI cable connecting them. I'm not getting an Xbox 360 - for me, that's down grading. I couldn't care less if I'll never get to play all the awesome RPGs that are coming out for the 360 this year because I'm not willing to part with £200ish.

I'll have Final Fantasy on my PS3, and my piggy bank will be saved from a brutal hammering. *coughs*andthegraphicswillbebetter*coughs* >>;

I have both and Xbox 360 and PS3, and i'll be getting this on the PS3, just because it wouldn't feel right playing a Final Fantasy on the 360, don't know exactly why, but it just feels right to play it on a PS3.

The PS3 version I'm getting as Final Fantasy is best on Sony's console I think.
Besides I already have a PS3 so that's why.

Playstation 3. I don't own a 360 because apart from Lost Odyssey and Halo 3, there just isn't a big enough library of games to sway me.

What benefits would you get from buying the version you choose?

One disc. Superior sound quality, (according to Square, when explaining DVD space on Xbox version) and graphics.

Definetly PS3 because it's better graphics and i will never buy X-Box.

ps3 duh! I mean they did fine with the rest of them, and Honestly I give microsoft enough of my money... and I would hate to give them more....

I happen to own both a PS3 and XBOX 360. (But the 360 has been sitting on a shelf, collecting dust for over 4 months now...)

So, I'll be grabbing the PS3 version. I have three reasons for this:

1. Ever since FFVII (and even though I dislike giving this game any credit...), Final Fantasy games have mostly been on Sony. I suppose it would be breaking tradition to play it on the 360 all of a sudden.
2. I would've bought it as soon as possible if it came out for PS2, like they originally planned long ago. I don't care about graphics, not to mention we could've gotten it a LOT earlier.
3. The PS3 controller is far more manageable than my XBOX 360 one. I have the charger for my PS3 controller, so I don't need to go find batteries when it goes dead. UNLIKE the 360, which has the battery issue, and that's a real struggle. I was playing SO4 a lot, and faced the "The Controller has lost power" or something message. It was annoying, because I always seem to be out of AA batteries... >_> So screw that, and screw multiple disc changing.

I found this forum when i was researching which console i should buy. Final Fantasy being the game/s that i make sure to buy ever since i found the series back at FFVII.
This thread therefore is the perfect one for helping me make up my mind.
